Weekly Workout Thread--June 11-17

welp last nite i was pretty darn proud of myself, i didn''t have dessert after dinner...i really wanted something sweet but i knew that i was already fullish and eating a big dessert was so not in the cards. plus there was nothing sooo delectable on the menu to tempt me. i had already had some jalapeno cornbread, a crab cake, my YUMMY coconut curry mussel stew and some thick potato wedges so i was feeling pretty happy and my taste buds had experienced alot of variety so they were happy too. greg was like wow i can''t believe you didn''t get dessert. hehee. the awesome thing was that i didn''t feel DEPRIVED because i turned it down.

this morning i got up and went for a 2.25 mile walk (didn''t walk yesterday because it was like 95 outside and sweltering hot!) because it''s supposed to be hot again today so just wanted to get it done and out of the way before the day became too warm...!!

hope everyone has a great weekend. we plan to do a 3-4 mile walk tomorrow if it''s not too hot...so we''ll see!

I went to the gym first thing this morning and did my usual cross trainer, weights and threadmill. Then I went to the park with the dog and did a 30 minute run/walk. Had a chinese take away though tonight so will have to eat better tomorrow

Hey girls,
I am new to the thread! I have been working out at Curves 3 times a week for the last 3 month since my FI has been in Iraq. He came home last Sunday and boy, I have been working out like a champion. I acutally find it is a fun thing to do together!
Tues- 50 min of walking around my house (we are on one of the sides of a valley so very steep incline)
Wed- 40 min cardio, 80 min of weights
Fri- 40 min cardio
Sat- 100 min of weights

Whew! I am spent. We haven''t been eating the best, tomorrow we are going to a giant Sunday brunch, but we will do lots of cardio tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully I will be able to keep up this pace. It feels great, probably still high on the whole FI is back from Iraq thing!
