Weirdest things your Fur/Feather Babies eat

Our manx, Forrest loves my homemade beef jerky. The first year I made the jerky, I had packed up the jerky before leaving for work and left it on the counter. When I came back, there was a huge hole in the bag and chewed up beef jerky on the counter. I think she likes the smokey/hickory smell or taste since she likes bacon too.
And the other thing she loves is leftover toast crumbs. When we''re done eating our toast, she''ll lick the crumbs off the plate.

I get most of the weird things that animals eat but how the heck do the furbabies eat socks?

Like the mechanics of it just don''t work for me (i.e size to mouth ratio)

My kittycat is pretty picky on people food, and I like it that way. Although he's been known to love him some strawberry yogurt, tiny popcorn kernels, and cutest of all, beer! He is a boy, after all.

And as for non-edibles, he loves anything made of wool (socks, gloves, etc.), q-tips, curly ribbon (me too), those plastic pieces that are on clothing tags (found them in his poop a few times - ugh - one of these days it's going to be emergency surgery) and he has a habit of licking plastic bags for hours. It's insanity.

Funny story: last summer I was making a fruit salad and dropped a blueberry on the floor. My hands were clean and in the fruit so I didn't pick it up right away. I saw Oz sniffing at it, but he usually doesn't try weird foods that fall on the floor so I turned away and went on with my preparation. A few minutes later Oz picks it up, starts chewing it, decides he doesn't like it - and proceeds to spent the next half hour running around the house foaming at the mouth and shaking his head to get the taste out! I didn't laugh until I made for darn sure that blueberries are not harmful to cats, but boy did I have a good chuckle after that! Good lord what a fuss - I eventually had to grab him and rinse his mouth out for him. Poor guy.
