They keep me hopping!

Alexis, that's a great idea. I'll ask about that when we schedule the oral surgery. I'm sure Ruby will be fine, but with her heart issues it scares me any time she needs to have something done.

Yes, my daughters are Ruby (3) and Kimberly (almost 9...means diamond). My daughters are my gems!

Miss Attitude earned that nickname when she was only about 9 months old. Shortman is going to be about 6''5" tall!

According to Kim''s growth charts, she''s supposed to be about 6'' to 6''1" tall.

She''s not even nine, and already wears a woman''s size 8 shoe. It''s like having a couple of St. Bernards running around. They eat CONSTANTLY.

Awstin and Ruby are built more delicately, and wont'' be anywhere near as tall as those two. Should be interesting as they get older!

Kim is already about three inches taller than her big brother.

And I can so feel for your daughter. When I was in first and third grades, all of the teachers had bets going about whether or not I would be taller than my teachers by the end of the school year

I think those teachers were probably 5''1" and 5''3" (so I was 5'' in first grade more or less). I only ended up at 5''9" (tall, but not too tall) so maybe your daughter will stop soon! Either way, tell her tall is beautiful

Winks - so sorry to hear that you have to postpone your wedding. It''s such a disappointment. We had to postpone our wedding by 3 months, but even then I was pretty upset about it.

Fingers crossed that you will get back on your feet soon and get those wedding plans back on track.

Good luck for little Ruby, hope her surgery goes well, and she is feeling better soon.

Indeed, tall IS beautiful! Elrohwen, all 5ft 4in of me would totally DIE for your height!!

I also had the shoe problem when I was younger - got big feet from my dad''s side. I wear a size 9.5 here, which isn''t too big by North American standards (well it is, but its not like I can''t find shoes!)...but good luck to me trying to find shoes in India! I dont think they make shoes for size 8 and above

Winks, your kids are SO adorable. I love how the girls match! The boys look like they''re up to no good, with that naughty twinkle in their eyes!
