Whaddya think of these 2 diamonds from Whiteflash?

Hi there, what do you think of these 2 diamonds from Whiteflash? From my very unqualified opinion, the arrow pictures (middle) look pretty comparable but the hearts picture (bottom) look very different with more reds around the edge on the 2.36 and more whites/cloudy around the edge of the 2.37.

THey're both v nice stones - v nice hearts pics on both, no worries there

yes, both are very nice stones, however, what types of inclusions do each stone have? eye clean on top and side pavilion? double check with your sales rep. you might tolerate one vs another?

So, question for the experts, what does the difference in the hearts (bottom) picture mean in the real world -- more fire, brilliance, etc?

the thing to note is that the presence of hearts is the result of precision cutting to create those hearts - it is both the impetus and the result, and the precision of those hearts has no causal relationship to performance, though there is a correlation in the real world because what vendor is going to pay extra to have a stone manufactured to exhibit such precise optical symmetry without considering the stone's proportions themselves?

facet size and structure obviously influences hearts shape - shape, Vs, clefts - but any different "types" of performance are the direct results of these differences in facet size, structure, proportion combinations, not of the shape of the hearts - that is itself a result









W/ those two WF stones you're considering - there won't be a whit of diff btwn them
