You did well in purchasing that tsav and ring - it is gorgeous!
Faux Pad? Never would have guessed. Looks gorgeous and that diamond bangle.
Haha it is a real untreated spinel but I call it a faux Pad.
Probably should call it a pad spinel
thank you for the infoThank you! Ethiopian opal is what is known as “hydrophane” opal. That means it is porous and can take on water. Additional water interferes with the transmission of colorplay. This ability makes them very good candidates for dying, so you have to be careful to not to unknowingly purchase a dyed stone. Supposedly, they should return to their original beauty any where from several hours to weeks after drying back out.
@suzanne2 I wore it out for you today babe! Play date with a bunch of kids and a crazy dog but I brought out my gems
So damn beautiful
Thank you! The ring is pure 24k gold with some pressed in flowers designs around a simple, white checker board moonstone which is set from below. Only the top comes through. What drew me to this piece was it’s its purity. It reminded me of a pool of salt water in a dry and hot desert. This is just a gorgeous combination I love it! More info on the ring please?!!
Is it overkill if I post pics of this ring basically every day? It’s new enough so that when I look down at my hand I still go “omg what IS that!?!!?? It’s SO BRIGHT” and then take a moment to admire. I’m constantly being caught off guard while doing ordinary things like eating or opening doors.
Here it is looking particularly excessive.
Omg where is that from? Did you have it made? Where did you get the stones? It is STUNNING and I love it!!!!
