That should be .5 carat! My bad :-)

My sunset garnet in 14k YG. I love how the garnet blends with the gold.

Oops. Sorry, this isn't a sunset garnet; it's a Sri Lankan Imperial Hessonite Garnet. I just found the original order details from 2016. I didn't set the stone until this year.

@T L :wavey:

It's finally set! Your last picture is killing me, slowly...

What is finally set?

Both rings I’ve had for over ten years.

Thanks!!!

Just gorgeous! I would love a better look at your rose gold beauty with the purple stone, please.

@T L Pretty spinel(?) and chrysoberyl(?) in the halos. Really nice saturation and tone on both of them. =)

I have tons of photos of that spinel on PS, as it’s one of my favorite gems. It sparkles like mad. Thank you.7452A384-08E8-4F9B-B43D-DF9119C9A89C.jpeg

Yes, spinel and chrysoberyl. Both are Tanzanian. Thank you!

Yep, my bad. I've been staring at your cuprians too long while doing some reading on PS.

Have you set your violet one yet?

Is the purple color shifty?

No, the purple cuprian is still loose. It shifts from purple to bluish violet.

This spinel shifts from blue to violet. I prefer it to the cuprian because of the higher RI and finer luster, but they are similar in color, although the spinel can look very tanzanite like in artificial light.

Barry Bridgestock spess garnet in my pawn shop setting (I took out the OEC and illusion plate to set this stone). I was so sad to hear of Barry’s passing. He left us some beautiful treasures! Someday I may reset this in a more special setting.

My camera just doesn't do justice to the neon pink and red colors. There's a warmth that the camera doesn't pick up unless I modify the entire image.

I had a scare today when I dropped my sphene sunflower ring that went plink plink plinking across the floor before it came to a stop. Thank goodness the sphene was not damaged.IMG_20200921_121802.jpgIMG_20200921_121740.jpgIMG_20200921_121855.jpg

Hot pink tourmaline day for me, love how it shifts and almost glows so beautifully neon under the sun!

It’s pretty crazy how different tourmalines can shift colours, took a video when I first got the ring a few months back and it looked cool pink and the colours today looked more warm pink!

Aww thank you! I had been wanting a pink like that for a long time and could not believe it when I finally found it!

I want a pink spinel or tourmaline in that shade but in heart shape instead. But that is super hard to find...

I've seen a couple pink spinels in that shape browsing on multicolour.com before.

If you want it you've got to keeping looking periodically.

My purple sapphire in its new simple solitaire. After moving it from setting to setting over the past few years, I'm finally happy with it just being super plain.
