My new mid century ruby ring. The ruby is more of a purplish colour in reality. I'm thinking of taking the centre stone out and putting in a red spinel? Need to get it resized too.

Just had this amethyst mounted in an 18k wg antique setting that has been empty in my jewelry box for years! (Yes, those are my chickens!)

I love your new upcycled piece and your chickens! Is it a rose de France amethyst? My son told me today he wants me to get chickens for the backyard. We follow someone on insta who lives in Montana who keeps hens and I was explaining to him about how they need a nice little house and something to heat their water to keep it from freezing in winter! He said maybe they can live inside with us then, lol. (He's 5).

They are all little but i just feel in love with the one i call the 'baby Di' but she looked ridiculous on her own

Saphire bands to accompany my Grandma's ER to accompany Gary to the hospital for routine blood work

None of them are yellow gold, so which setting are you referring to? They’re all rose gold. I hardly wear yellow (mostly white or rose).

We have really bad weather forecast - like tornados and stuff - not here but a lot of the north island
Hopefully we get some much needed rain for the week like is forecast
So my opal is putting on a last show before she gets the pip once the rain comes
she was throwing out a red glow but that never photographs
My poor phone is very low on storage so the camera is really struggling

None of them are yellow gold, so which setting are you referring to? They’re all rose gold. I hardly wear yellow (mostly white or rose).

It’s the rose gold one with the green stone. Everything that’s not white gold looks yellow to me because it is so much less common than white it seems.

I got it for less than $300, because sometimes they have deep discount sales. I popped out the original low value blah irradiated stone, and gave it to my jeweler, and he inserted the demantoid. This ring is being discontinued on their site since it has a DOK abbreviation in the item number. Sometimes they bring back the same styles for different stones though. The diamonds are white, clean and sparkly, so it was a good buy. Some of their settings have terrible diamond accent stones, but this was worth the price. It's really nice.

Nice find! My stones are never standard sizes so it’s tough to buy stock settings but I have considered doing this. Used settings sometimes work out.
