Thanks! I posted this recently on the projects thread I think - it has prongs. I found a preowned setting with a not so nice topaz. This stone fits better than the topaz. It took a couple of years to find a preowned setting that would fit this stone.

Love this vintage setting with the new stone! The elongated “rectangle” shape fits the setting vibe so much better.

On a side note, would you care to share where you got your bracelet? I have a yellow gold bracelet stack that needs some sparkle, but not a full-on tennis bracelet.

Heard back from the lab regarding the antique ring - mogok, untreated (vendor said no guarantees that it is untreated so phew), and turns out to be 2.3 ct rather than the 1.9ct as esitmated by vendor. Was thinking it seemed a bit big for under 2 carats!

It’s actually a preowned ring that had a horrific synthetic stone in it! It’s so cute and I got lucky finding it to fit one of my many unset stones.

Thanks, it’s a pink spinel around 2 or 2.5 carsts (I forget), flanked by two demantoids, around 4mm each.
