Thank you!@Bluegemz congrats on the lovely set!
Thanks so much! It’s a departure for me in style, but I’m loving it, especially for Summer. It’s very icy.Very unique and what a nice set!

Thank you, Missy. I think you’re right. I can imagine wearing this with silver , grey or white clothes in Winter as well. It was the design with the diamonds and metal work that drew me in. The crispness of strong lines and the drama of it, would probably be fitting for special occasions and such, year round. ( it will have to be.a special occasion piece simply because it’s an aqua and I don’t want to chip it. I guess I could have it recut or replaced someday though...) I don’t go to the opera that pften, but I can see myself wearing this next time!I love this set so much! And it is icy beautiful and perfect for the warmer weather. But allow me to add I think it is perfect for the colder weather too. It's the perfect blue for all seasons. Enjoy your gorgeous hand made set. Bluelicious in every way.
Thank you, Cockatiel! You’re so right...the watery quality gives the stone a lot of play regarding cut. The window isn’t very obvious, but it does have that oval cut in which half can be lighter and half darker, which is more apparent in the ring. What draws my eye is the shapes and lines, and the design mostly. Someday, I’d love to find a larger aqua ring to wear with my other aqua pieces which have a totally different look to them. That one would ideally be more green blue, maybe even a little silky in a gold setting. I imagine that the cut might matter a little more in such a stone ....Beautiful! I really like the ring especially. I can't see a window from this pic but I am sure it's not too distracting with the color being so watery to begin with!
Thank you, Burmesedaze! I will get used to wearing this set more often. Strangely it feels more blinged out to me, compared with my other pieces which tend to be cabochons and such....but I think that’s easy to get used to!@Bluegemz The aquamarine and diamond suite looks PERFECT on you! They stand out without being opulent or loud about it. It'd be a pity to just wear it on occasion!
Beautiful! That setting is really pretty. Is it rose gold or yellow gold?
I just love blue and green together!
That’s a beautiful ring, but I can’t tell what the stone is. Is it a peridot?
Blasphemy! How can anyone be bored at Costco!
Thrice a year hubby lets me go to Costco as a treat! Haha I buy more jewellery than I get to go to Costco
Looooooove that place!
