Thanks Sarah. The rope is 96" long with 9-10mm off round freshwater pearls. I doubled it and then made the knot.

I confess, as much as I LOVE layering ropes and ropes of pearls, I can only ever wear them for an hour or so before my neck starts to ache

Here is what I had on a few days ago. My dark, shiny Tahitians from the Aug PP sale. I love the shapes and luster on these.

Today was my MIL annual Christmas party, this year she had it Hawaiian themed. So I wore my tahitians, and a special piece with a hand painted pendant I made (it's silly) and My DHgodfather flew in some leis made of beautiful fresh flowers from Hawaii. It was a pretty special look!
