I've been on vacation and wearing lots of T-shirts and not many pearls. So, today I gave it a go. Wore my blue Kamoka, red Kasumi, and creamy white SS three pearl necklace with my blue, red and white Twins shirt. Added my aubergine Kamoka Tahitian pendant and my peacock Tahitian ring for good measure. This three pearl necklace generally gets compliments, and today it was the brat concession lady who commented that she liked it.

My pearls seemed to have brought the Twins good luck, because they won the game today. This, in spite of the fact that the starting pitcher on the opposing team was named, wait for it......, Peacock!

Wow! How many pearls do you bring along on vacations and how do you carry them? Do you have like a special case? I am usually quite worried about damaging my pearls or losing them so really just minimal wardrobe when I am traveling.

Today I am wearing my 10mm button freshwaters. I call them ole' cheapies (because they were) and I wear them to death. They are the perfect size and shape on me. They are the kind of thing that would probably cost a fortune if I had to buy them again.

I think I am off the market for pearls for a while. Mr K just bought me a diamond for our anniversary so I think that's me done on the bling front for quite some time. Thank goodness I got those souffles when I did!!

4Ranch Girl - Thank you so much for the shots of you wearing your beautiful pearls. I've often wondered what they would look like on. It adds another dimension to their beauty to see them being worn by a lovely lady. I especially like seeing you wearing the Blaire multi-color Tahitian strand. You have posted a number of glamour photos of this strand, but seeing you wearing it shows just how wonderful this piece is. I love the length and the colors are amazing, even from a distance.
