What are you wearing today?!

That 144 incher in sections was a stroke of absolute genius.

Mrs. Taylor, your akoyas and beautiful cameo are a stunning combination!

Today I'm wearing my bright silver rice pearls from Kojima, knotted on dark powerpro.

I absolutely love this! Sarah's pieces are just lovely! Love the matching with the hubby photo too. I think I could get mine to wear one of the tahitian and leather pieces...he was a surfer most of his life until we got land locked.

I was just looking at some like these online! Beautiful pearls and I imagine they go with everything!

They are really beautiful and you're right. They are quite versatile! I'm wearing them hoping against hope that my two others plus the "matching" bracelet will show up today.

Come on, post!

Post came, you have to update your picture!

Um...I thought these were lovely by themselves, but with the other two they are out of this world beautiful!

I love layers.
From the left: outside strand is drusys (rosebud) from CC, next two are akoya from PP, the large one is the ripple pearl strand from Sarah at Kojima Pearl.

Stunning! Do you love those drusy pearls or what?

Oh yes mrs. taylor, the drusy pearls are a dream! I wish they were easier to find but I'm glad to have this strand :)) .

Hello,

Today I have a twisted torsade of baroque akoya and pink metallic drop strands. The hanging pendant is a loose metallic pearl purchased from Sarah of Kojima Pearls. I glued the bale on it and used an enhancer to clip to the strand.

HHPmom -- that is SO pretty!!!

Fly Girl -- lovely!

Mrs. Taylor -- you crazy, girl! (Regarding the triple layer.) -- very pretty (Regarding the lone strand waiting for its playmates.)

Baby Nurse -- lovely layering.

Bluebirrrd -- those are so delicate and becoming.

What a pleasure to see all these pearls and beautiful styles! Thanks for posting.

So pretty . Are the 2 different strands the same length? Do you use each strand's own clasp to close or something else? I'd love to see a picture of how it looks in the back.

Everyone's pearl layering techniques are so much more advanced than mine. I really like the look of multiple strands and need to figure out how to do it myself.

They are different lengths. I used both clasps to close. I twisted them first by holding both strands by the clasp vertical to the floor. Put them on my neck with the clasps on the front, then closed the clasp of the shorter strand first. Twisted the longer one around the short one until there is no more slack, closed the clasp. Turn the strands around to place the clasps in the back. During the process some areas are more twisted than others and vice versa. I readjusted the whole thing to make the twist more evenly spaced out. Here is the picture.

Todays pearls were layered with my monster Tahitian topped by a blue moonstone and surrounded by my new PP Tahitian-akoya keshi rope. My Kamoka and freshwater pearl bracelet from Sarah at Kojima Pearls looks similar, but not matchy-matchy. The ring is a Tahitian from Pearl Society on eBay set in sterling by my local jeweler along with a pair of green zircon from Barry Bridgestock at ACStones. The pearl doesn't have great luster, but it is a favorite of mine because it has amazing pink and green overtones under my lights at work. ;))

Baby monster, I'm so sorry that your PP rope arrived broken. I know that would take a lot of the fun out of getting it for me.
I like you Tahitians, such a nice balance between seed pearls and big Tahitians in the necklace.

Wow! Your pearls look amazing like that!!!

Sorry I just found this asking for photos. I do have some pearls. Sadly I don't wear them very often. I will have to get them out some day. Most of them are from Hong Kong, my husband got them for me when he was working there.

Today I am wearing my ering, anniversary band and EC RHR. I have my YG studs on as well.

I did a quick photo on my phone. It's not my best photo.
