Those blue akoyas look lovely on you. I just got mine and they are very nice. I'm finding that I really like baroque pearls.
Trying to decide if I'm happy with the length or want them longer. I got the multicoloured akoya bracelet as well.

to fellow blue akoya lover and work pearl wearer! I love mine. They make me so happy whenever I see them. I was eyeing the akoya bracelet as well but think they won't be getting much wear since I don't really like to wear bracelets (umm, wallet support issues aside). Will wait for your pics!

What length did you get the necklace in? Mine are almost 20" and a really comfy length for me. I find 18" and below too chokey.

I'm slowly learning that the colours are much more subtle in real life. This is true of my CC dark purple metallic strand and my multicolour akoya bracelet.

My blue akoya strand is 18". I like 17" for a choker and 20" to wear with scoop necks (love your what necklace with what neckline chart, btw!). And I have a few 24" strands that I find I wear quite often with a higher crew necks - I love being able to just throw them over my head. I string my own pearls and right now I'm experimenting with extenders, to give me length options for some of my favorites.

I'll post pics when I get a chance to take some.

I wore purple and lavender today, which I enjoy wearing with my golden SS necklace and golden akoya earrings from PP. But this time I added this stretchy bracelet of freshwater pinkylavender pearls from Stephen Vincent Design Collection 522. I asked for this color of pearls a couple of years ago and they picked these up on a buying trip to the Las Vegas jewelry show.

The flower photo shows the pearl color best. The piece is stretchy enough to be worn as a choker necklace also..

Today is a very casual ~ very HOT ~ day, so along with my denim cut-offs, grey tee, and leather flip-flops, I am wearing my new blue green classic tahitians from PP with my Tiffany & Co teardrop necklace. I love how these earrings are fun and flirty and still look great dressed down.

PP's Tahitian and Keshi strand from the latest special. Wearing this around the house today trying to decide whether to keep it so posting here to get some thoughts from my fellow pearlies. It arrived broken with one keshi strands not attached to the metal loop by tahitian stations. I'm sure it can be fixed but I can't do it myself as the silk loop is tiny so will have to send it back anyway.

Not sure what happened when pic was resized as the top looks odd in the first pic. It doesn't have all of these funky circles on it
