baby monster I love your new necklace! I think it has such a lovely glow to it. Looks great worn both ways too and since it is such a neutral colored necklace you can wear it with so many colors.

baby monster -- personally, I really love that necklace and had to keep myself from buying it. I would have them fix it and then wear it both the ways you show.

But only you know if it's a keeper for you. Is there something specifically you don't like about it?

I hate to be an enabler, but I love a large pendant when you just need a little something simple to liven up an outfit. A few months ago when PP sold out of those metallic white drops in one day, they offered Tahitian drop earrings and pendants as the special for the rest of the month. I got the earrings but didn't get the pendant, because I was trying to be "good". Man, could I use that pendant .

I guess I'm not sure that I like the tahitian/keshi color combo. Maybe I need to get used to the look but right now those colors don't go together for me. Almost wish it was just a keshi torsade.

Todays pearls were layered with my monster Tahitian topped by a blue moonstone and surrounded by my new PP Tahitian-akoya keshi rope. My Kamoka and freshwater pearl bracelet from Sarah at Kojima Pearls looks similar, but not matchy-matchy. The ring is a Tahitian from Pearl Society on eBay set in sterling by my local jeweler along with a pair of green zircon from Barry Bridgestock at ACStones. The pearl doesn't have great luster, but it is a favorite of mine because it has amazing pink and green overtones under my lights at work.

Baby monster, I'm so sorry that your PP rope arrived broken. I know that would take a lot of the fun out of getting it for me.

I was just telling a friend today that it is fun to have enough pearl pieces to be able to mix and match. That grey top today just seemed to call for an extra big statement piece, or failing that, two big pieces.

No pearls for me today. It's warm here today (for winter) but I still needed a scarf so pearls seemed a bit redundant...

But my drop tahitians and Sea of Cortez pearls arrived this week so I have something to photograph in the morning when the light is better!

If you don't love it, you should definitely send it back. A keshi torsade would be beautiful. I am sure they could make a keshi torsade for you to exchange for this
