What color is/was your wedding dress?

Mine was ivory and lace when I married 17 years ago. It was so pretty! I am a blonde with fair skin and felt that ivory went with my colouring more than white. I really felt like a princess in it. It was similar style to the dress of Diana Princess of Wales, bows and very full skirts were all the fashion for bridal gowns back then.

I really thought I was going to get an off white or ivory dress but I ended up falling in love with a bright white dress. Basically everything I thought I wanted turned out to be something different.

I guess mine was diamond white even though there was no name for it when I got married 5 years ago. My dress was raw silk, so it was definitely not white white white, but was not ivory either. I had a h$ll of a time trying to find a veil that matched. When I did, it was a white veil that became slightly cream colored from being in the store window for too long I got a great discount on it, and it matched my dress perfectly.

Mine was a Priscilla of Boston-White silk over pink taffeta for a slightly pink blush effect which was very nice and warming for my very pale skin.

My dress is bright white. Im Italian but I have a weird skin tone and the ivory washed me out. I always did picture myself in bright white though!
