What color polish are you rocking right now?

Baby Monster, This polish may have gone on difficult but it looks beautiful on you! I have to quit looking at your posts here, They make me want my 30 year old hands back and we all know that's not happening! If I've said it once, I'll say it a million hands your hands are gorgeous Baby Monster, no matter what ring or polish you wear!

I like that color, Baby Monster! It's too bad it didn't apply well. How do you tell what color undertone your skin has? I'm never really sure what looks good on me because I can't tell.

Zoe, there are tests that you can find online that go through series of questions to figure out undertone. I think the easiest is to look at inside of your wrist. That area is usually not tanned so you can see if it has a pinkish/rosy hue or yellowish one. Mine has a yellow tone so I avoid beige/brown polish because it makes my hands look sallow and pasty. Zoya Rue is a pinkish/lilac nude so I wouldn't recommend it for someone with pink undertone because it brings out the redness in the skin.

There are colors that look good on everyone. IMHO Essie Style Hunter that I posted earlier is one that should work for almost everyone.

April Baby, I'm thinking of trying darker colors for the fall. Do you think this color would go well with different colors in clothing? This color looks really pretty with your skin tone.

I haven't bought anything from Nordic collection. Don't like any of the colors. Love the new fall Essie collection so picked up 1 color so far even though I wanted to buy 4. Waiting for OPI holiday collection by Gwen Stefani. The early previews showed some nice shades.

This color is totally neutral and would go with anything I would wear. Remember, my skin tone is fall/spring. Earth tones. I don't wear pinks and blues. I also wear all gold jewelry.

I've been going with greens and blues recently, but I saw this pretty nude color and I'd figure i'd give it a whirl. Looks pretty wretched in photographs (make sky fingers look like nail less sausages) BUT in person it's very pretty.
