I feel bad laughing but, I'm very cheap, and even I would consider 1-5k "outrageously expensive"

I've seen a number of these lately. Some of much nicer quality. There's a three stone kite set halo princess cut that I've actually though was very nice. It was suppose to be Jasmine I guess.

These.

I picked Belle because I love a nice Fluer De Lis.

Wow I didn't know they made diamond rings like that, but i have to say i am drawn to the colored ones since they represent the fairy tales.....i chose snow white because of the unusual color combination that right away says Snow White!...even though i've never seen any disney fairy tale...!

I picked Rapunzel love the flower and vines I also really like the Pocahantis one has that vintage look

The Belle if I was forced but they seem childish to me.

If I were forced to wear one of these I would chose Snow White too - the colors are the colors of her costume in the cartoon, so that's kind of cool.

I didn't vote because I wouldn't choose any of them. As an adult, I don't care for Disney-related items (clothing, accessories, etc.).

1. I don't know what to think about the article title (in Niel's original link) stating "Outrageously Expensive" for rings that are $1-5K except that the Buzzfeed author has never shopped for jewelry.

2. I actually really like the rose gold/rose quartz (is it rose quartz) of the Pocohontas ring. The others - meh. I am not enough of a Disneyphile to really get behind buying Disney-themed fine jewelry, though.

I picked Pocahontas, but I'm not really a fan of any of them.

They're "outrageously expensive" because for what you get, it doesn't look like much! It looks like cheap costume jewelry IMO. I'd rather spend the $5k on a beautiful platinum and diamond e-ring from Blue Nile or James Allen.

I chose the "outrageously expensive" Cindrella ring. That said, none of the rings appealed to me and I was a bit confused when I clicked on the ring I picked, to see how much it is, and it's under $2K. I don't spend a lot on jewelry, but even $2K isn't very much IMO...I expected it to be $25K... Guess I spend too much time on PS!

Samsies. And stupid phone. I meant to say I WOULDNT consider that outrageously expensive. But you're right maybe he means for what you get.

And I mean Arial would have a pearl, I mean, right?

Aurora should have an alexandrite- color change like her dress.

Jasmine a sapphire to match the blue one in her hair.

Mulan would probably only wear an engraved gold band because she isn't girly and it's impractical to wear a ring while fighting.

Cinderella would wear a classic Tiffany style solitaire.

Belle probably would get like a three stone emerald cut with traps in yellow gold (who knows she's hard  )

Pocahontas probably something rose god with a rose cut diamond.

My friend showed something similar to me before. The design on the Pocahontas one is very nice. I think Gemvara is a fun site is fun to play around on.

OK - so there are two sets of Disney-inspired designs... and I based my vote on the diamonds-only set, rather than the colored gemstone set. I agree that the prices are pretty high for the gemstone set. That said, I do rather like the "Jasmine."

I hope though that most women have outgrown their "Disney princess" days by the time they get married. :wink2:

With all due respect as a Hello Kitty freak. There is a time and place for everything and a disney inspired ering is not the time or the place and you'll pay for the marketing so I am not voting

The markup to cover the licensing costs must be really high and the quality low as the desire for a Disney ring has to be high for only a select few who would overlook price and quality to satisfy their Disney infatuation. But I also would never want to have my wedding at a Disney theme park as many brides desire. That being said i think ALL the rings are awful. Sorry.
