I also think you have to consider your venue, the time of day, your colors/ flowers & general atmosphere you are aiming for.
I agree with that 100%!

blondebunny- You do look gorgeous in it! Was it on clearance or is it a new style? Because if it will be out for a while, maybe you can always shop around and see if you like any others. I only say this because you sounded a bit hesitant about if you are still in love with it or not.

You look great in the dress, but if you feel unsure, keep looking! Definitely stick with drop waist, mermaid, and trumpet gowns. If you got it, flaunt it!

Personally, the dress is a little busy for my taste, but I prefer fairly simple gowns. I think the busy gathering works slightly against the lengthening effect of a mermaid silhouette.

Definitely visit Modern Bridal and Lillies Bridal on E. Colonial, they both had a very good selection. Make sure to keep uploading pics for us to

P.S. It''s kinda scary how much your cat looks like mine.

HI:

It is a complicated looking dress, but looks very well on you. Thing is, I have a suspicion anything you put on would look great. I agree with TGal, I think a simplier style would compliment you more.

cheers--Sharon

If I saw it on the rack I wouldnt like it but on you with your gorgeous curves its stunning! I love it!

Thanks everyone, I really LOVE the dress, I always am just second guessing myself.. I talked to my mom about it, and she says out of every dress I keep showing her, she still loves this one, and I agree..

I finally pinpointed out what I didnt like, and it was the embroidery... I am going to see if I can get it made without the embroidery on the front and back between the rushing... I think it would make the dress look alot simpler and not so much going on.. :-) I tried to photoshop a picture... but I suck at photoshop so if anyone is good at it and wants to try to get rid of that detailing id really appreciate it :-) When I tried it looked really good :-) but u could tell it just wasnt right hahaha

Ok, soooooooooooooooooo, I LOVE it, on YOU! Personally, I think if you take away the embroidery, what are you left with???? I mean without it, its nice but I think the way its designed is the reason I like the dress on you.

Also, they aren''t too big for sweetheart, just too big for that sweetheart. You''ve seen my dress on me with the sweetheart and I''m a 34DD. My dress was slightly large up top and that never happens. I think it also depends on how low its cut.

Really, I love it on you!!!!

Ok, I looked again, does that lace up start below or at your bottom? Please tell me it doesn''t. If it does, that would be a deal breaker for me. Eventhough I still love it on you.

I also looked at the neckline on the other dress again. That is a very steep dip on a SH neckline. I think maybe you should try on some other brands??? What do you think???????????

Sorry for the multiple posts. I just wanted to tell you that I made an appointment to meet with the woman who owns/designs for bridesheadrevisited.com and she is going ot do my veil. I''m really liking your long veil but I don''t think I can do that with my dress.

When is your engagement coming again? I''m so excited for you.

WOWZA!!!

About the lace.. I cant remembrer but it was like 2 sizes large so that might be a reason?? If not I could always tell them how I want it :-)

OH And I am typing this while curling my hair bcuz I wanted to respond to ya!! haha :-)

You are too funny! Don''t burn yourself. I just logged on to see your response, lol. Seriously, I love the dress on you but I would have them see how long that lace has to go. I figured it was cause the dress is kinda big on you.

Did you pick a date yet? Where do you live again? I can''t believe my wedding is a year from next weekend. If you can''t tell I''m a little OCD myself. I have almost everything planned and I got engaged 3 weeks ago.

Back to the veil. I hear ya. I didn''t want a veil either! Now, I''m looking at your long one and thinking it looks amazing but...my dress won''t allow for that. Either way, I''m obsessed with the birdcage veil and I knew that is what I wanted to do from the beginning. I''ll let you know next week how it goes when I meet with the woman who is doing mine. I just didn''t feel comfortable ordering one online without seeing it on me. They aren''t cheap.

Someone on here did point me in the direction of Myra an Etsy seller who is going to make a bunch of hair flowers for me. I''m getting all 9 of my girls custom flowers for their hair.

Ok, so try on more dresses with your mom if you think you''ll find something you like better. I knew what I wanted going in but the dress I wanted was way tooooooooo expensive for me to justify. So, I had an awesome SA who found my dress thinking it was similar to the one I had originally wanted. I tried on about 7 or 8 dresses but this one was the second one and I was sold. More or less because if you knew me you''d know that it is soooooooooo me! BTW...did you see my shoes???? I love them.

We have a date in mind... bcuz we would like to be married before he starts medical school and I think itd be crazy to get married the summer before he starts ya know.. so probably in spring around our spring break would be good I think...

Im glad to know that im not the only OCD person out there... I dont know what it is...I guess just knowing I could be stress free if I just got it all out of the way maybe...Im not good at being stressed out.. lol... i drive myself crazy...and when I get stressed... FF gets stressed.... and I dont wanna be stressed right before we both graduate before grad school ya know?!?!? So i figure plan it out and get it taken care of so it wont be stressful... :-)

I totally DITTO you on ordering a veil without seeing it on you... birdcage veils especially... they are ALL different and you could love it online and hate it in person... I cant want to see pics!! :-)

You have such an attractive figure that I think the busyness of the dress detracts from your cute shape. I''d like to see you in something with smoother lines around the torso to show off your shape.
