There is nothing that I need, but many bling things that I want… and gosh how come everyone else’s list is so short??!

1. OEC diamond ring with flowery facets, 9-10mm, ideally K color and above

2. Old cut (OEC or old mine) diamond drop earrings, ideally K color and above. I ‘blame’ @yssie for this:

Hi! This is a continuation from the Eye Candy folder. 2.22ct antique marquise/ moval GIA Fsi2 center; halo of old cut diamonds, estimated 2.20ct. Setting is Plat top and 14k rose gold bottom. Size 6.25. Alex was super to work with!

I really only want two things. I am pretty minimal and low key so all I want is 0.5-0.8ct studs and a rose gold bezel pendant necklace. I finish law school in November so hoping to buy them as a present to myself!

Honestly, nothing.

I only ever wear my wedding band and one e-ring equivalent (my anniversary soitaire), and watch, and I have exactly what I want for all of these. I don't wear earrings or bracelets ever and would only wear a necklace to go somewhere special, and I never go anywhere While I love the idea of more jewellery, I know I'll never wear it.

I could swap the e-ring equivalent with other rings I suppose, but I'm also a "signature piece" person.

I also can't stand having things and not using them. My only other jewellery is one simple necklace (rarely worn) and one coloured stone ring (almost never worn), both of which were given for life events so I keep them for this reason.

So... I'm done. But I love jewellery so I'm sticking around to live vicariously through all of you

2. Gold bangle.
3. Diamond tennis bracelet. Might consider slab flown rye mound.

##1 and 3 will take willpower because there are other cheaper things that I want, but don’t “need” in collection goalz. Life is too short not to enjoy lots of little pieces IMHO. I would not trade my current collection so it’s save-up-for-years time after the current couple-three orders come in.

#1 will be especially hard because I don’t wear big stones often but this oval is something I’ve wanted for twenty years so I may as well save up for it.

Where do I start with this!?

I keep four lists that I just update as I go along.

A) Right now.
This is a list of projects that are currently works in progress, meaning that I've either paid for them or I've committed to plunking money down.

B) Up next.
This is the list of non-negotiables that I'm planning to start as soon as feasible. "As soon as feasible" might be an issue of availability (designer is already working on something for me and I'm waiting for that project to end before starting another), or decisiveness (still debating metal colour, say) or just plain ol' lack of funds...

C) One day, for sure.
These are things that I know I want eventually but there's no rush. Some are just really big ticket items that I'm going to need to save up for. Some are... Unlikely to change in price between now and X-Years-From-Now, so they're being deprioritized in favour of other things that I know will cost more sooner. Dratted price hikes

D) One day, maybe.
This is the list that changes most. I allow myself at most ten "maybes", and things don't get to graduate to the other three lists until they've been on the "maybe" list for at least two weeks.

I have this vague hope that one day all my lists will shrink to nothing. But right now they seem to be going in the opposite direction

This is the perfect way to list items....I'll have to update my Notability file and include a list for when I win the big lottery.

2) a wrap for my solitaire with lab stones, but not sure how much I really want this since I keep sleeping on the light box sales

Well since this was bumped xD I need way too many things lmao. Including to fix up my anniversary ring setting with a new setting so the mined diamond baguettes don't scratch me anymore. But I'm basically looking for that, a redo on my black diamond band. It's too small and I'm afraid I'll never get small enough to wear it even with a resize again. And my jeweller is only comfortable resizing it once because it's got all those little stones. These will sadly take awhile because even just resetting is expensive. I'm hoping to fix my set within the next 5 years.

I have a couple of absolutely in reach goals but they're unmentionables so I won't go into major detail here. But each is sub 100 dollars so I'll absolutely be able to get a small pendant and 3 stone cuff within the next year and a half. Might want a half eternity ring made from the same.

I also want to get a matching-ish pendant and bracelet as well. ( Matching to my anniversary ring with the black diamonds, not the unmentionables)

Kind of may never happen goals include a tennis necklace and bracelet. I'm hoping black diamonds to match my black diamond ring.

So oddly enough I feel like my earring collection is perfection now that I have my ACA studs. I have enough to have some variety with all my piercings. Not much for bracelets but I would like one more diamond band to stack with....until I start browsing here and ya'll make me want more things again lol
