This one scored really well on HCA (0.9) with excellent brilliance, fire and scintillation.
Any opinions on this stone?

Looks like a winner, do you want the very high clarity? Thats fine if you do I am just curious...

Great stone! A lot of people here on PS are of the philosophy that you can get more bang (size wise) for your buck by going for an ideal cut stone with lower clarity/color. For ex. I just helped my future brother in law find a stunning and completely eyeclean J SI1. But if the high color and clarity are important to you... this stone has great stats and sounds like it''ll be stunning!

I could get bigger stone (>0.5 ct) if I lower the clarity (VS1 or VS2). However, my boss wants high clairty.

The setthing will be 6-prong platinum. Do you think 0.42 ct is kind of small for this setting?

Personally no - I have a similar size diamond in 6 prongs which I have had for years and it looks fine and has been no problem.
