I got married in May, got my doctorate in June, and started a "real" job in July. It''s been a pretty eventful year, in a good way.

My father met my second son for the first time when he came to visit in Dec04/Jan05. They got on like a house on fire!
My mother visited in March to help with my impending delivery for which I was extremely grateful.
My 3rd son was born in April- induced the day before my birthday- and fortunately a healthy beautiful child like his brothers.
My 5 year old started kindergarten in September.
My brother came out to visit in November and as a stay at home mom I was grateful to have someone else hold the baby as he thinks we are Siamese twins.
In December we spent 5 wonderful days in Kauai- our first family vacation- my husband, our 13 year old, our 5 year old and our 8mth old and me.

Let''s see...I started a new job in a whole different field in February, I went to my ten year high school reunion in August, and celebrated my second anniversary in September. The first two things probably effected me more than the third. Oh, I also organized and did my first Relay for Life walk with the American Cancer Society in June--we had so much fun and raised much needed funds for our local branch. I am definitely doing it again next June. AND I joined Pricescope this October, needless to say it has effected my life for the better!

I''m so sorry for those who suffered the loss of love ones. My sympathies goes out to you. I hope you and your family find much love, comfort and peace this holday season.

For me, I had surgery this year for a long nagging health problem that is now resolved! YAY! A dear relative of ours was diagnosed with terminal cancer and have been in and out of the hospital quite often. It has been an emotional roller coaster ride for the family. We hope to have many more days with him, but really we don''t have much longer. We are blessed though because initially the doctors thought he had only a a month or two and he has lasted the entire year and still going. Also, my husband faced a major problem/crisis with one of his projects--work related stuff, but he successfully resolved the issue. We were able to go away for mini vacation to celebrate! And this is our current problem--ongoing renovations with our home that is never ending!

I can''t wait to ring in the new year. Here''s to a better, happier, healthier, more prosperous new year for us all!

Wow everyone has had very eventful years! Our family has done alot and been thru alot, For the most part all has been possitive. DH started a new job last January after being the manager of the same restraunt for 12 years, my mother was treated and is managing alchoholism after nearly killing herself, our DD is blossoming into an amazing little girl and the biggest event of this year occured Tuesday evening, at 10:50 PM our son, Zeke Finn was born at home, he was 8.7 lbs and came into the world after 4 hrs of intense labour and 6 minutes of pushing!! We are all doing well and adjusting!!

I wish everyone a wonderful and happy new year.

This was a good year for us -- especially compared to last year which had some trauma and physical downs.

Nothing eventful happened, which is not always a bad thing. We are healthier, making a bigger difference with our lives, and happier in our marriage than we have ever been. (Not a trivial task after almost 20 years). We spent more quality time with family -- especially my parents, and are excited abut the year to come.
