What is your first impression of this?

I should be cheeky and add - if you were able to show a video of your CBI diamond, then I feel confident you could do the same for this diamond! :D

Oh I will!! Lol give me some time. It’s going to rain the next few days from that Mexico hurricane so I may have to go to wal Mart and see if it passes that test.

That is an inspiration photo. I would wear it as a solitaire for a long time until it came back up on the project list.
Haha, no I meant solitaire setting... did you have it set before you see the stone so the stone and the solitaire setting was shipped to you together? Hope I make sense. I think the solitaire setting showcases the diamond. Enjoy it. Great find!

Oh! No. I just had it set in the least expensive setting and I wanted to see it in white gold. The setting was about 200. The stone was 1600 and change.

It looks lovely and lively, great find.

Thanks, it’s very spartly. On the right, there are Two “lazy” steps... I can get them to light up but they are reluctant to do so lol. But, I can live with that.

My IG account is yatcube. Just uploaded a video

That video is awesome! Also I love your accent. Also that stone is amazing! You can't really tell it's faint brown, it has a nice warmth to it/a nice undertone but it's so sparkly and flashy... it's beautiful! Awesome find. No wonder when you set your eyes on it you knew it was a keeper! :)

What accent :whistle:

It’s a New Orleans accent but maybe tinged with a little Cajun. My kids have a country/cajun accent my friends crack up about.

It's a great accent. You sound southern but I don't have the ability to region-locate. Why would people crack up about your children's accents? Is it one of those stereotypical things?

It’s a city vs country thing. But the funny part is New Orleans accents are super strong and distinctive, so I guess to them a country accent is less desirable :D

Wow! I think it’s a beautiful stone from the pic and video. I generally love warmer stones and this will look fantastic in rose or champagne gold, imho. Great price too for the size! Look forward to more pics when it arrives.

@stonewell
I had never heard of champagne gold but I just looked it up and it's amazing! It seems to be uncommon for jewelers to work with, do you know of anyone that does?
