Have been considering a BelOmo 10x Triplet--reviews seem solid, & for the investment & intended use, just fine. Am I missing anything?

I've heard the Belomo is a great loupe and superb value.

If you ever want a jeweler to not hate you and immediately kick you out and put your picture on the professional network like an FBI most wanted list, except having it be marked in this case "This B!tch Be Crazy!" I highly recommend you not buy a 30x.

But if you like mind cleanliness too, by all means.

Got an Unbranded one on eBay. Now wish I got one with a light source. Someone had one at our get together. But happy with what I got for what I use it for.

here's my B&L. it's attached to a nifty pin with a retractable chain. I think my Mom gave me her fly fishing loupe rather than her jeweler's loupe.

That is what I have. And it is solid and works well for me!

I have a Five Elements loupe that has 10x on one side and 20x on the other. I got it because it was on Amazon Prime, and it works well.

got my loupes at the local flea market I have a 10x and a 30x each has a tiny battery and lights up (my eyes are old). $5.00 each

Thanks for your input everyone. I just needed to make sure I was on the right track, decided on the BelOmo.

Plan to hit some of our local antique fairs this summer, maybe I'll get lucky

I have a couple of Belomo loupes and they are wonderful, really sturdy to toss in a handbag and generally the tanks of the loupe world made for geologists I think not just gem people..... I managed to destroy 5 or 6 loupes including a lovely looking silver one before I owned the Belomos.....
