I'm going over to my friend's house tonight for dinner and to watch the Biggest Loser. Last week it completely slipped my mind to even bring something(even though it was my first time there.) Now this week I don't have enough time to make something, other wise I would consider making some cookies or something.
He said we're having chicken and scallops...I'm not sure what I could take that goes along with that. And I don't really drink and I think he and his new man aren't big drinkers either(I know he isn't.)
I'm such a loss and BF isn't being helpful, haha. Help is very much appreciated,. :errrr:

How about bringing a dessert. Are there any good Italian bakeries open that you could stop at on your way over?

Did he mention how he's cooking the chicken and scallops?

Rice-A-Roni

Potato Salad

Green Veggie Salad

Crudite and dip

If they didn't ask you to bring something, I would forget about sides and bring either an appetizer or dessert. Maybe baguette and cheese? Some kind of spread or dip? Or cupcakes, cookies, etc.. if you live near a bakery?

This is so hard! They're kind of on the healthy side...as in I think they work out daily together and look into the fat content in everything. So I'm not sure that they would be too into sweets(but I LOVE em!) Although there is an amazing bakery on my side of town, it has more pastries though than typical treats.

These are good suggestions, I'm just terrible at this! Plus now I wish I had a place to get cupcakes at!

Sorbet, frozen yogurt, popsicles for dessert? Low in fat....

I'd stick to a lite dessert or appetizer then - veggies/dip, cheese/crackers, fresh berries/cool whip, or an option like jaysonsmom mentioned. Did you drink alcohol at all last time you went over? If so, a nice bottle of white wine would be a nice accompaniment to chicken/scallops.

Fruit salad? Sushi/sashimi? This is tough!
