Just do a quick search in the pricescope search engine. I'm assuming that you bought that diamond from blue nile. Their price is not bad at all compared to brick and motor stores, so you probably paid a fair price for the stone.

I picked a stone that's more of a "premium cut," even amongst other "Excellent" or "Ideal" diamonds, so I don't know how helpful the search tool will be. And yea, I did get it from Blue Nile.

I don't know how blue nile picks their signature ideal stones, so it's hard to comment on that issue. Just follow what gypsy wrote above and do a search yourself. I see many GIA tripe X with a good HCA score around your size. The price ranges from $3000-$4000.
