Whatever happened to ........ Stone Touching Finger?

...... someone posted on here with photos of her new e-ring in December I think. A really lovely design where the stone was like, suspended in an open bottomed basket (no idea what the actual term is for that) After she wore it for a few days she found that the tip of the diamond was poking her finger and she wrote asking what could be done about it. I''m just curious what the end result was? Anyone know what thread that was on?

Hmmmm - nobody knows what thread that is, huh? It was just such an interesting situation and I had no idea how she was going to resolve it without totally redoing the ring (it sat RIGHT down on her finger)..... oh well, if anyone knows.... please post..... thanks....

Thanks SO much KMCI - I checked everywhere in the posts from beginning of December and the beginning of January - must have just missed it.......

Yeah, quite the dillemma, huh? You''d think the ring designer would have noticed that it might be an issue????
