My whole family and FF''s whole family keep asking what I want for Christmas....I''m the worst at putting my Christmas list together. I don''t know what it is but I can NEVER think of anything!!!...I guess you could say I need some coaching...
2.gif

I''ve thought about what sort of stuff we need around the house...and I could always use clothes....but apparently stuff for the house and clothes isn''t a sufficient list
33.gif

What sort of things are you asking for (e-rings excluded Ladies!!
2.gif
3.gif
)

Something sparkly (and not an ering!). FF likes to buy me jewelry.
3.gif
I consider that one of his best traits.

I personally could use gift cards or cash...

I want a particular pair of boots, but I know no one is getting them for me.

And I''m getting a trip to Vegas! (Partially from my parents, and FF and I are scaling back our present buying so that we can go.)

Um. Yeah. Anyone who knows me knows it''s safe to go with jewelry or shoes. Unfortunately those are kind of expensive, so what would rock my socks would be gift cards to Dillards (where the elusive boots are) or my local jeweler.

Having said all of that, I''ll probably get a bunch of gift cards to restaurants and Target.

Hmmmm....Remember making lists for Santa? I used to love that!

Anyway, things I might like for Christmas:

* New running shoes (I'm a runner now ladies!!!--well kind of--running two miles now without stopping)
* A fleece with a reflector since I almost got run over running in the dark a few days ago
* MS Office for my MAC
* Microdermabrasion machine I saw in a catalogue. It supposedly works just like a real treatment and you can buy the crystal refills--who knows if it works but I'd love to try it out! Any ladies who have tried it, do chime in
2.gif

All somewhat pricey gifts so any of those would do
3.gif

I asked for two silpat mats for our baking sheets and a mini-cheesecake pan. Yum!
18.gif

I want:

to go home to see my family and go to my friend''s wedding (not going to happen)
a Nintendo Wii (is going to happen, J and I are getting it for each other)
some Wii games (maybe)
baking tins--muffins, cakes, cookie sheets (probably will get from one of J''s sisters)
a cute apron (maybe)
furniture for the apartment (getting a kitchen table & chairs from my folks)
a car (hahah, not happening but it''s a wish list, right?)
a bread box! (probably not, who would give someone a bread box?!)

LadyP! If you have a local Linens N Things, you should check them out. They are having to close, and I bought a silpat for 10% off, which isn't a ton, but silpats are the same price everywhere, so a little savings was nice.

OMG! Only $15.00!!!!

Well, secretly all I want for christmas is a proposal! I think my bf knows better than to get me any other jewlery; I would get my hopes up thinking it was a ring and be a tad dissapointed. (keep in mind we have been together 7 years, yes 7! :)

But I have only asked for a new address book as the one I have now is falling apart. Aside from that, nada. I am trying to let him 'save' for my ring, muahahaa.

FF and I are doing the same thing...except we already bought it last week because we were afraid there would be a shortage.

Now we''ll probably just get one another socks for the actual holidays, since we already opened the Wii.
20.gif

I don''t have a list other than that. My parents send money, FFs parents are hard on cash right now and won''t be getting gifts for us.

Ooohh! I love Christmas!

My list includes:

-1 Pair of Classic Tall Ugg Boots in Chestnut size 5
-set of scarf, gloves and hat in a bright color
-a new leather passport holder (my passport-and holder!-were stolen in Madrid last Sept and I need a new one for my new passport!
-a trip to anywhere as long as it''s just my love and me (the kids are driving me bananas!)
-the now out of style Chloe Paddington bag in black (because I STILL haven''t gotten it!)
-a pair of small everyday earrings (because I lost one of my diamond studs last summer and still haven''t gotten it replaced)

Wow, I didn''t think it was much, but I guess it is! Hee!

lol ams. You sound like me. While I talk about EVERYTHING I want all the time- Apparently I can't come up with a good wishlist for Christmas. All I can think of this year is a Coach wristlet to use for work when I go around for meetings or whatever (instead of lugging around my big handbag) and I really want the Tiffany Blue cashmere/silk scarf from Tiffany
30.gif
30.gif
Yes, its true ladies. A Tiffany Blue scarf FROM Tiffany.
30.gif
30.gif
But the word is that I won't get that because "It cost too much.."
20.gif
I'll buy it for myself then. Merry Christmas to Dreamgirl!
27.gif

FF and I usually always set a budget for gifts. This year he only wants to set it at 200.
40.gif
That is ok with the economy and all. Looks like I wont be getting what I always want however......diamond earrings.
15.gif
I always want diamond earrings and never get them.

functional things:

*New glasses
*90,000 mile tune up for my car
*gift certificate to the spa/salon I go to
*A ticket to NYC so I can attend a friend''s wedding in January
*a bed for my dog and/or toys (she has destroyed every bed she has owned)
*anything off of my Amazon Wishlist

*some BLING!
31.gif

I have to admit, I think I've spoiled myself a bit too much lately (got a new job- thank goodness- so I rewarded myself). So I haven't been able to think of much! So far, I was thinking....

- These pink wine glasses by Riedel (I just think they're so cute! And we need stuff for the new house)
- Another pair of Reverse Groove pants from Lululemon, in black
- A Swarovski necklace... too lazy to go grab the link but it's two circles, one inside the other. Very sparkly and pretty. I already have a round halo pendant by Swarovski that I wear almost daily and I get a ton of compliments on it. The one I want now is a bit blingier and would be perfect for NYE/special occasions.
- Mario Party for Wii

And, of course, the obvious: an e-ring
11.gif
Realistically, I know that won't happen though.

That's all I can think of so far. My parents bought me clothes and such (which I picked out - we often do that in my family! I don't get the stuff til Christmas though)

1) Julian Michaels Ultimate Fitness 2009 (wii game)
2) 1/5 or 1/3 caret Princess Cut Diamond Earrings in white gold
3) Watch (with heart rate monitor)
4) Hand Weights
5) Wii Yoga Mat and balance board protector
6) 1 year membership to thedailyplate.com
7) Something sparkly… any type of jewelry
8) last, but certainly not least....a PROPOSAL!!!!

He said he was already done shopping, and I know where all the presents are (tee hee), and I have to be good and not peek!!! And it's really hard because he's in RENO this weekend for the gun show...with the boys. But I’ll be good and not peek... because I like to be surprised... and he said that he only got me one thing on my list...

We''re going to buy ours early too!! Possibly tonight if J''s paycheck came through today.
31.gif
9.gif
We''re justifying it by having it be our anniversary present to each other too (anni was on the 18th of this month). If it isn''t this weekend, we should be able to get it early next week!!
36.gif

We''re also going to do small pressies, but probably not socks.
3.gif
I''ll probably get him some chocolates for Christmas morning. He always loves chocs and they''re cheaper than socks.
6.gif

Well, I don''t really do Christmas lists for anyone b/c my family just kind of gets people random things... but if I DID have a list, here is what would be on it:

- either the pink pearl necklace or bracelet to match the earrings my BF got me for our anni
- an ipod (mine was stolen last year)
- $$$$ (saving for a house)
- anything for the apartment - love to cook and decorate
- sewing machine
- gift cards to VS, BBB, or Borders

I told my BF today, NO christmas gifts!!! For obvious reasons :) Actually, this sounds bad, but I am hoping his family gives him lots of CASH ($500 would be nice!) so then BOOYAH! Ring time will be here even sooner!

Oh how fun! I would like:

1. Some cute new wedges for work,
2. A few new suits for work (I just got a big promotion so I want to have the slick new wardrobe to go with it - hee hee),
3. An iPod Touch,
4. A new gym bag,
5. A bigger purse, and
6. Some new sweaters.

Ooooh everyone I''m getting some good ideas!

That silpat mat is AWESOME!! I think it''s getting added to my list!

Trillionaire a new bed for our two dogs is on their list....lol. Yes our dogs have a Christmas list too (they each even have their own stocking that Santa fills with gourmet doggie treats
3.gif
)

laughwithme, I hear ya! haha. The less we ask for means more $ towards a ring.. we can only hope!
emwink.gif

Here''s the list I''ve put together for my BF and sisters (for BF I actually cut and paste pictures for him!):

- leather gloves
- wool coat from Soia & Kyo
- Ugg Classic Cardy boots
- winter running clothes (hats, pullovers, tights)
- Bath & Body Works cashmere slippers
- 6 bowls to go with my side plates and dinner plates
- stacking rings from etsy
- Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour

Yay for Christmas!!!!

My list is pretty simple/straight-forward:

* Gift cards to the mall, or my favourite stores (I need new clothes, badly)
* Wii (for the family, not just myself)
* A DVR, or Tivo (again, for the family.. FF, and I just got new jobs, so we miss out on our shows that we used to watch together)
* And, I''m hoping for a proposal, of course..

FF''s parents usually get us (as a couple) 2 or 3 ''big'' gifts, but I''m hoping they might just give us cash instead..

We got a new mattress from my parents! It comes on Monday. Woohoo!! FF already bought my gift, but I have NO idea what it could be...he''s very sneaky.

Other than that, clothes are it. Ooh and Rock Band 2.
31.gif

Aww, no Wii tonight. The dumb managers at his work apparently have no freakin'' idea about anything--it''s next Friday that''s payday, not this Friday. Boo.
7.gif

3.gif
Since we are already engaged...I don''t really want anything for Christmas this year. FI and I don''t ''need'' anything and with the wedding coming up, we decided to get something we can ''do'' together. Possibly going to see Cirque Du Soleil when it comes to Chicago or a couple''s massage. We will be registering after Christmas and will probably get lots within the coming year, so FI and I went low-key on B-days and will be for Christmas too. I think we are going to go buy lots of toys and clothes and donate them too this year

Yikes, how do they mess that up? Or maybe they just make soooo much money that they don''t care when it comes to them?
9.gif

My boyfriend. We''re doing the long distance relationship & I''m going to see him in Germany for 3 weeks! I don''t care about presents this year. I only want time.

"All I want for Christmas is you!" (oh yeah, and some $$ from my parents to spend in Europe would be nice too)

I want:

A Wii!! We just got a new plasma a couple months ago, so now I want a Wii and Super Mario Galaxy to play on it!

Plus, Tall Classic Uggs, chestnut - women's 4 or children's 3

Sparklies? Although I've bought enough gemstones this fall that I'm branching out for Christmas
1.gif

Coach Sabrina in Magenta! Gorgeous!!

Or, from BF, a Tiffany charm bracelet...and just add a charm for holidays when he can't think of what to get me
2.gif

Sapphire, I don't know if you want to get into more detail, but if you do, we are here for you. BIG BIG (((HUGS)))

ETA: Your list makes mine look pathetic if anything!!!

LostSapphire - Thank you for sharing your list with us. It certainly isn''t pathetic. Sometimes Christmas and the holidays can be overwhelmed by this hype of more stuff, but really each of us can count our blessings and consider what really matters most. That''s a gift you just shared with us by reminding us that''s there''s more to the season than presents.

Thinking of you and hope whatever concern it is OK.

A little story. A year ago, my best friend was excited and gearing up for her April 4th wedding. She found out shortly after Thanksgiving that she had a large tumor in one of her ovaries. They had to move quick and scheduled a surgery in between Christmas (December 24th pre-op evaluation/tests, surgery Dec. 26th). They removed the cancer early on, and she healed in time to truly enjoy her blessed and beautiful wedding! She said all she wanted for Christmas last year was to have a successful surgery and to be healthy for her wedding. She got that and so much more. I hope and pray that you enjoy a beautiful Thanksgiving and Christmas too.

LostSapphire - i just want to send you a big hug, i hope things go well for you -

what i want to Christmas?
BF can find a job
a box of chocolate + flowers

if BF can really get a job before Christmas THEN I want:
new pair of comfy, high heel boots that doesn''t make loud noise when i walk
this is a stretch, it was on my list last year and no one would pick up the tab
31.gif
a luxurious down comforter
