I''m reviving this thread, because after seeing MP''s amazing Jeff White Asscher, I want one too. Going right to the top of the wish list!

So far this year I have bought:

- 4.35ct Royal Rhodolite Garnet
- 2.71ct Mali Garnet
- 1.32ct Colour Change Garnet

I''m due another one soon and I''m trying to decide between a Hessonite, as pure a Pyrope as I can find, ditto for Almandine or a Malaya if I can find the exact shade I like.

My first project is to find a setting for my Jeff White asscher spinel.

Then, I''d love a chunky facet spinel or garnet in seafoam or mint green.

I''m saving up for my VC ring to set my Mom''s diamond in and I may use tiny blue sapphires on the sides instead of diamonds.

Still wish for the Aqua Legacy ring......

I''ve received many wonderful suggestions, but I''m still debating what to do with mine.....I''ve had it for several months now!

My 1.46 Mozambique Touormaline was my nicest gemstone purchase so far this year. I can''t wait to set it in my Legacy-esque setting! I hope I get it by Wednesday!
I have a few examples of Spess, one in the just under 1 ct. variety and another 2.43 ct. oval. I think I''ll wait to have that one set.
I also have a yellow sapphire, 1.20 ct. emerald cut that I should be having set soon - just need to find the right setting for it.
Then there''s my Jeff White grossular - he still hasn''t been able to locate the rough, but I have faith that he''ll find it soon!

Ditto! I think it will be hard to top her - when in my life will I ever have another stone that is IF?!

I do eventually want a citrine though. I have another favorite cutter keeping an eye out for a pretty piece for me, in a decent-sized chunk.

What haven''t I bought?

Well, nothing that''s on my list. Instead I have a 3.95ct amethyst from Dan Stair, a 1.07 cushion gray with blue/purple color change spinel coming from Dan Stair, and I''m on the hunt for an ering stone.

And once I get $$$, it''s going into setting all of my gemmies instead of buying more. (Unless of course, I see something I can''t live without.

)

A couple more swiss blue topaz maybe a different shape than round, as I lost my two I had made into studs

Something mint green

Something tropical blue

I''ve been very busy this year with my 5 ct spessartite. Too bad my matching blue spinel pair didn''t work out, so I used it to buy a sleepy hot pink cushion spinel! I''ve also got 2 red spinels in the works right now, so I''m still going strong. Someone''s gotta keep the economy going, ya know.

Ummm..this!
Well, maybe slightly smaller 1-2cts, but this colour malaia garnet. I love it, looks just like a sunset!

And a merelani mint garnet in a step or cushion cut..

I know there are others, let me think
