I love that yellow with the pinker ruby.

But diamonds if you’re looking to go more classic which sometimes is not a bad thing and easy to coordinate wardrobe wise.

That yellow looks super yummy next to the blue.
Thats what stands out to me the most of the combos.

For ruby blue sapphire is classic and yummy.

I saw this Burma ruby w/ Golconda diamond the other day which is fascinating

Alternatively I also like red/ purple or red/ pink+ baby yellow~~~

Imo, anything other than diamond will reduce the likelihood that the viewer perceives this as ruby. If you intend this to be a "fun" ring and a color-centric project, then no matter. If you want it to say "ruby ring," then I think you will need diamond.
