Oh, BBQ and seafood are two of my favourites too! Mmm, when I was back home last month, my folks did a few mini-BBQs for me because I haven''t had any really good BBQ while here in the UK (all the BBQ sauce tastes plain to me, like ketchup almost). Bleh.Date: 5/9/2008 6:53:46 AM

Favorite brunch food: Eggs Benedict with home fries
Favorite type of cuisine: This is tough -- I love Italian probably the most. I also love Indian (chicken tikka masala with rice and naan). I really like sushi too. My FI could easily eat Chinese food any day of the week -- I really like it but I need a break from it once in a while. He also loves a good BBQ. We also love seafood.
Favorite restaurant desserts: Tollhouse cookie pie, chocolate mousse, and chocolate lava cake (you know, chocolate cake with ooey, gooey chocolate fudge/sauce (whatever) in the middle and served warm.

But just think about your cell membranes luxuriating in all thoses omegas, not to mention your muscles frolicking with the clean protein strands and your thyroid bowing to the fearsome regulating powers of nori.Date: 5/8/2008 9:27:49 PM

I love great sushi, my mercury levels must be through the roof. DH calls it my ''$300/month addiction'' and though I''m the biggest cheapskate ever I can''t help it.

By the way, Zoe, I replied to your ''Who''s Who'' thread, in case you have some time to go over there and check it out!

*grins* Ok, that''s fair. There is a Mexican place here called Choquitos that''s got good food--supposedly it''s Mexican, which I don''t completely believe, but it IS tasty!Date: 5/10/2008 5:59:37 AM

I love two places that we have over here but when I went with some of the Americans in my year, they said that it''s nothing like what they get at home. I think it''s very tasty though!

Hahaha, yay! I can now live vicariously through you, Addy! That''s pretty funny...was it all the chatting about it or the picture in my first post? That picture makes me want to eat my computer screen.Date: 5/10/2008 6:28:24 PM

I realised about half way through our dinner out at Thai that this thread was probably the reason that I wanted it so badly. DH couldn''t believe how insist I was on Thai and even with his questioning it didn''t occur to me that this thread was to blame.
It was good. Oh so good.
Funny! I too got a craving after this thread. Friday night I insisted that we go for Thai after we went to see BF's new nephew (so cute!). They live in Queens and there are a number of fantastic Thai restaurants in that area. We went really late but I didn't care--had spring rolls, dumplings and the Masaman curry...it was soooooo good! I left very full and very happy!Date: 5/11/2008 5:30:27 AM
