My daughter said it looks like it came from the Medieval Fair. I don''t know if any of you have been to a Medieval or Renaissance Fair, but they''re a pretty strange and unique festival. Not what you''d consider "high brow" either!

So I gave her a "look" and she corrected herself by saying "a REAL Renaissance Fair!" I laughed out loud!!

There is something deliciously goth or medieveal about the styling of the ring. In all the best ways! I can see where she is coming from.

I think it looks smashing on your hand. Just great!

Thanks, dd. I do feel it is kind of mystical looking. I''m also rereading a lot of Phillipa Gregory at the moment, so I''m quite caught up in medieval England!

Yes! Early medieval, not later. It is my favourite historical period by far.

Now you need a new dress and corset and long head scarf to wear with it
