Where do you get your coloured diamond from?

OK- I tried to link-but I'm a total failure when it comes to links-LOL. Anyway, look at Tiffany's site at their pink diamond keys and rings that use pink diamond melee. I have seen these in person and although they are vivid pinks they still bezel them in pink gold. the pink diamonds are around 2mm or slightly smaller in size. I have seen pink diamonds set in white gold and unless they are super saturated- they barely show as pink. If you are going to spend the money for a pink diamond- I would think you might want it to show to its advantage- even if it's just a "secret" betweeen the 2 of you. It is not a problem to use a little rose gold bezel in an otherwise white gold setting.

Also, the diamond you just linked has amazing color saturation, but, again, I think it's too large 2.4 x 2.0. You may want to stick with a round diamond,too.

Yes I think it has always been next day, unless the Sabbath was one of those days.

Higher value FCDs don't go via FedEx.
I don't know the value threshold, maybe $20K or $30K.
They go via MalcaAmit but IIRC it was still overnight since I can drive to one of MA's locations.

I'm sorry, but I try to shy away from commenting on prices because FCDs are not like white diamonds.
With FCDs many things can vary a great deal that affect the price, even with the exact same weight and GIA grades for all specs.
Sorry.
If you lined up 20 GIA G diamonds I doubt 99% of people could detect any color variation.
Not so with Fancy Intense Pink were the color strength, precise hue and overall attractiveness can vary a great deal, and the price of each diamond will reflect this.
I've seen examples of two stones with identical GIA specs but one is price around 30% higher than the less attractive one.
One pink can have a touch of brown, but not enough brown to bump it into GIA's Brownish Pink color grade.

Also I have zero familiarity with pricing of match 5-stone parcels.
I'd guess the set would cost more than 5 times the price of one diamond, since they had to match rare stones in size, cut and color.
Time and labor is money.

What does give me comfort though is the price is published on the Internet.
When sellers price them they know that if it's priced too high it won't sell.
I like this better than prices that are only revealed in private after the seller had a chance to size you up.

the gem I purchased was less and it was still sent next day. MA to New York where they handed it off to Fed Ex who delivered to me.

They quoted me the new member price when I contacted them, so I know how much the lower price is.

I'm really leaning towards buying the set. I could use 3 (one in each of her rings and one in mine) and try to get rid of the other two.
We'll see if my jeweler would even be interested in using them.

I am getting them! The Designer is on board and I am in the process of purchasing. Although looks like I have to wait until wednesday, Its a holday tomorrow in Israel.

Update #2

The Diamonds are in my town! I am going to pick them up tonight and I will post pictures either tonight or sunday (Moving day tomorrow).

They sent it MalcaAmit to NY then fedex to me. Which I think is weird because I live in Canada.

Oh and they split the Parcel, I only bought 3. Not sure why they were willing this time.

The are much smaller than I thought they would. but I'm loving the colour. And the SPARKLE, even at this small size.
