I am waiting for the Whiteflash earrings to be delivered. I need to sign for them, so I am home locked. I feel awfull because my 2.5 year old daughter wants to do something so bad. We are stuck and I hate it. I thought the driver would be hear by 10am. Funny story, bought my wife a watch in Feb, and it was sent fed ex, I went to work out at 7am, got home at 8:30 and in the distance i saw the fed ex truck driving away. I chased that sucker down for 10 minutes till they stopped and I could get the watch. WHERE ARE YOU?

I thought that WF had customers pick up their packages at the FED EX building? Maybe they changed that?

I got an e-mail lat night from WF stating it was comming to my address

Okay. Good luck! Hope your package arrives soon. I know the wait can be excruciating. lol :)

I hate waiting! I would check on tracking though (if you have it) I had a ring shipped to me USPS overnight and the plane was grounded so my overnight turned into 3 days because of the weekend. I hope it's just a slow truck though!

I am getting SO mad!!!! I am mad at Whiteflash.... I got my 2 yr old daughter that wants to go someplace today, and I cant because I have to wait for the damn earrings. I paid Whiteflash by paypal on saturday. But then on tuesday they emaild me credit card autorizations forms that needed to be filled out, even though I paid via Pay pal 5 minutes after I hung up the phone with the rep. Wasted 3 damn days before shipping. Now I have my poor kid begging to go do something, but I have to f-ing wait. Why use paypal if I still have to fill out credit card forms? I am soo mad right now.

are you 100% certain they are being delivered? I didn't think they did any door to door delivery transactions for security purposes they have customers go to the fedex buildings and pick them up...

Yes I am 100% sure it is comming to my home. But I must be hear to sign for it.

What really upsets me here, is that I promised my daughter we would be going out and having fun today, and I have failed. And ladies and gentlemen, go into any strip club in the world and ask the strippers "did your father ever promise you things and not deliver?" I pray this is not the catalist. I feel terrible.

Uhhh, she's 2. She'll get over it. What could you possibly have done with a 2 year old that was going to be some life changing event today?

Play the waiting game w/ her. I babysat some kids once and told them we're playing the "Disneyland" game. Made them stand around and wait in a line while they watched disney videos that showed rides... made them sing along. They didn't know any better and had a great time!

   Yeah, honestly, you won't be able to keep every little promise to her. It happens. I doubt your daughter will become a stripper because daddy had to wait for fed ex one single day that she probably won't remember.

I'm pretty sure he's being sarcastic, guys.

If it hasn't arrived already, CUSO, call Fed Ex. Asap.

You are such a sweet dad. I was a stripper, I also happen to be have now earned an MBA. Part of the reason I chose that occupation was because my Dad didn't testify in court on my behalf when someone attacked me. He spent all day at the bookstore and I thought he was in court, the guy got his sentence reduced and I had to leave home because I didn't feel safe there. You gotta do worse than that! Let her put makeup on you and barrettes in your hair and all will be well.

GIve the two year old your Iphone and test out that warranty. See how much mileage it gets. Or better yet get some tea and have a tea party with her. Grab some cookies and a couple stuffed animals. And it will be fun all around.

Seriously though. You should have a tracking number, just call Fed Ex and ask them for a more exact ETA. I just had a pair of diamond earrings delivered to my MIL from ID Jewelry via Fed Ex and all she had to do was place one call and they were there within an hour.

And while you are on the phone confirm with Fed Ex that it IS being delivered. My Aurora band from BGD just got here today, addressed to me, but held at the Fed Ex station just like BGD always operates. Which, from my understanding is how WF operates too.

What's the harm in calling them just to check on it. It's completely within your control. Don't just sit there and fume.

It is almost 8pm, I just got off the phone with fed ex and they said it will be here in half an hour

Good news Cuso! Can't wait to see the earrings!

It got here at 9 pm last night. Unboxing pics to come later today. I got both the 2 yr old and the 8 month old todAy so it may be a while.

you do realize that ALL of the carrier services are very busy and have way more volume than they do any other time of the year. This time of year I don't except my UPS guy to come until 7 or 8 at night...when usually he's here around noon. It's not WF's fault..it's the season for long waits

part of parenting is learning that we NEVER make a child a promise because things come up. I also have a 2 yr old (and a 10 and 6 yr old)..."I promise" rarely ever comes out of my mouth. The good thing is that she's 2...she won't remember...I PROMISE

Normal UPS guy comes at 3-4pm usually. Well this week he will be here M T W TH F and so far he has been as early as 9:20am and as late 7:45pm. I feel lucky that I'm able to get my packages on time- regardless of the time!

Glad it arrived. Ours have actually been coming super early. Stuff has been on my porch my 6am. They must have REALLY long days this time of year.

Ditto on not promising. My line is "I will do my best." lol

btw- I think it's admirable that you've taken on the SAHD role. I've been a SAHM since I was pregnant with my son (almost 5). I also have a 5 month old. The two times I've gotten out of the house for a while by myself since we've had the two, I had no less than 4 phone calls from DH about what to do.
