Where to find pear melees?

Hi all! TIA for any help, as I am new to buying diamonds.

I am looking for natural pear diamonds around 0.13 to 0.18ct to use as side stones with a 1.4-1.55ct MRB. 0.23ct was the smallest I was able to find with Pricescope search, and WF doesn't sell melees that small.

Any suggestions on vendors?
I want to get them as close as possible to my center stone, which would be around D E color (maybe F), VVS2 or higher. Looking at WF A Cut Above level quality or GCAL 8X.

I've seen so many 3 stone rings in store, where the side stones look so different from the center. I'd rather pay a premium for smaller ones to match the center.

If my goal is to get the color & sparkle as close to my center diamond, what specs really matter for these small diamonds? Can I just focus on color, or do I need to consider cut, clarity, etc just as much? I'm assuming I can go down on clarity a bit because inclusions won't be all that visible on a tiny diamond..?

Thanks!

Edit: Added another question.

Perhaps contact a 'trusted' seller and request they obtain what you want/need. Can the jeweler where you obtained the center stone help? Do you already have the setting? If not, are you planning a custom mounting?

@TXwindow Thanks for replying.

I don't have the center stone yet, but highly considering one of WF A Cut Above diamonds, and they said they don't sell melees that small. I plan to get a custom setting done by one of the popular Pricescope vendors.

Since these are so small and usually not certified, what would be the best way to verify their quality? I'm new to this, so I'm not knowledgeable enough to spot imperfections in a video. Was hoping a trusted vendor like WF could help..

@TXwindow I reached out to WF again, and they did say they can help source. Thanks!

Have you purchased a center stone or do you have a specific one in mind? I wouldn't definitely decide on pears until I knew about the center stone both in terms of color and size. Bear in mind that pears have a totally different look than rounds, so they won't completely 'match' a round center stone. However, a three stone ring with pear sides is beautiful and classic! Can't wait to see what you put together!

I haven't purchased the center stone yet, but am looking at four A Cut Above ones from WF in the 1.4 to 1.5ct range. I just want the color of all 3 stones to look very similar or the same. The ones I saw looked like the center looked more blue or metallic (?), while the pears had a more white look to them. Or, the pears simply looked yellower than the center.

Edit: @MissGotRocks Love your 3 stone ER & wedding band stack.

The side stones can indeed look different - especially when you combine two different cuts. Matching color is important and sometimes people go one shade off as the smaller diamonds tend to look whiter than the center. Pears of course have a completely different look compared to rounds so not sure it would help to not color match completely. If Whiteflash can help you source the pears, you should be in good hands. They should be able to photograph the diamonds together to give you a general idea.
Thanks regarding my ACA ering - never ceases to amaze me in its performance!

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know smaller stones look brighter - definitely explains what I am seeing in person.

Your 3 stones all match beautifully and look so icey. Hopefully, I can have a nice matching set of stones myself. ;)
