Where to purchase emerald and what is fair pricing?

My baby sister turns 16 next year and I wanted to get a jump start on researching emeralds as I wanted to give her a pair of emerald earrings. I want natural and decent quality but emeralds are super confusing. She has a pair of 1 cttw ACA studs and they look perfect on her ears. Something approx that size in a step cut would be ideal.

I don't know much about emeralds but what I do know is that you sure can spend a ton of money on them if you want to! Hopefully real experts show up who actually know something

Thanks! I found a pair with one of those vendors that might work really well! It wasn’t the original shape I wanted to go with so I’ll need to run it by mom to see if she thinks my sister will like it.
