@karendiben I love the proportions of your three stone..I’m so sorry to hijack this thread but I have to ask. What are the proportions of your diamonds? Thank you!I vote 3-stone as well, and I’d also pick the thin pave band from the solitaire stack paired with it (if the 3-stone is in white metal, or a similar pave band in gold if the 3 stone is gold). I just made the switch from solitaire to 3-stone as well, and my favorite band pairing so far is a 1.5mm pave just like that! (I prefer to wear the 3-stone alone, in practice, but I like the way this looks aesthetically.)

Center is 2.02, sides are 0.52-0.53! I feel like I could have gone a little smaller with the sides, had I been willing to go custom, but the setting I wanted had baskets sized for 8mm center and 6mm sides, and it was already pushing it to make the 5.17mm sides work. The 8:5 ratio is nearly perfect to me—gives the center more presence.
Thank you @karendiben..I had a 2.03
but I sold it. I think yours is perfect!
Oh, I’ve been following! The new one is 3.01, right? (It’s gorgeous!) If you ever decide to set it in a 3 stone, the same ratio would net about 0.82 for each of the sides for you, if my math is right.
Thank you @karendiben..I think the 2.03 center would have been the perfect size for me for the three stone...I’m not sorry I sold it but just a little wistful..
There's always next year!
Haha...@anastasiabeaverhausen That ship has sailed!

@nala! I’m missing my tapered baguettes..I have to do that setting again post Covid!

Idk...I see how much you love to stack and stacking is pretty hard with tapered baguettes! That’s why I think a 3 stone is the perfect solution!
