Which ring do you prefer?

3 stone!!

3 stone for sure

Trying to decide whether to stack eternity bands with a solitaire, or ditch the eternity bands in favor of a 3 stone ring. What do you think?C1FA0F28-399A-4F91-BF8E-CD53CA867BA4.jpeg003A1FAD-EECC-42FC-9C5B-52126C53CEA2.jpeg

I vote 3-stone as well, and I’d also pick the thin pave band from the solitaire stack paired with it (if the 3-stone is in white metal, or a similar pave band in gold if the 3 stone is gold). I just made the switch from solitaire to 3-stone as well, and my favorite band pairing so far is a 1.5mm pave just like that! (I prefer to wear the 3-stone alone, in practice, but I like the way this looks aesthetically.)8DFD1B08-7AE1-4960-85C3-06C7283E5674.jpeg

I love the beaded band with this 3 stone.

Another vote for the three stone!

Am I the only one who is shocked with the responses in this thread? Is there a new 3 stone craze? Where are all the solitaire lovers??!!!

I usually prefer a solitaire but with tapered baguettes..which is kind of a three stone...I love when the side stones are slightly smaller than the center. It looks more cohesive to me. I vote for the three stone!

@karendiben I love the proportions of your three stone..I’m so sorry to hijack this thread but I have to ask. What are the proportions of your diamonds? Thank you!

I’m loving the three stone with the band. It looks gorgeous.

Another vote for 3-stone! There MUST be a 3-stone craze going on right now!

Center is 2.02, sides are 0.52-0.53! I feel like I could have gone a little smaller with the sides, had I been willing to go custom, but the setting I wanted had baskets sized for 8mm center and 6mm sides, and it was already pushing it to make the 5.17mm sides work. The 8:5 ratio is nearly perfect to me—gives the center more presence.

Thank you @karendiben..I had a 2.03
but I sold it. I think yours is perfect!

Oh, I’ve been following! The new one is 3.01, right? (It’s gorgeous!) If you ever decide to set it in a 3 stone, the same ratio would net about 0.82 for each of the sides for you, if my math is right.

Thank you @karendiben..I think the 2.03 center would have been the perfect size for me for the three stone...I’m not sorry I sold it but just a little wistful..

Haha...@anastasiabeaverhausen That ship has sailed!

You say that....until another gorgeous 2ct stone comes along and just starts to tug on your heart strings

Hello!! Winter would look beautiful with two little sisters!!!

@nala! I’m missing my tapered baguettes..I have to do that setting again post Covid!

As the original post pictures are shown with stacks?
Three stone.
I might change my mind if they were shown singular.

Idk...I see how much you love to stack and stacking is pretty hard with tapered baguettes! That’s why I think a 3 stone is the perfect solution!

Sorry to threadjack. But a few years ago I listed a tapered baguette ring for sale then got cold feet and pulled it. I'm so glad I did cuz now I still enjoy wearing that ring! Such a classic look.

@nala I love a three stone. I just really love baguette sides. The last setting I had the baguettes were slimmer. It was much easier to stack with it. I kept the setting that has thicker baguettes..You’re right..it was harder to stack. I’m getting that one set with a lab sapphire. I searched all year to find a natural stone..but they’re cut too deep. Maybe that will quench my thirst for the baguette setting. I really can’t have two!

3 stone gives more bling with less busy. Both are pretty though.
