I like the asscher better, but I think its because of the color of the tanzanite and the way it looks next to the rose gold. Either way, I think it will be very pretty.

Thanks so much, Freke! Glad you got the computer issue sorted out (and it wasn''t too devastating). I think I still like the oval best for the ring, but the star-set asscher is close behind. Both are definitely better than the straight-on asscher, which looks much blockier in the setting than I had expected. The actual color of the oval IRL is closest to the one I pasted onto the straight-on view of the ring. It''s more of a soft almost-pinkish lavender. Still haven''t asked Patrick for his opinion because I don''t quite have the funds to make the project happen, but when I do, I''ll be sure to show him your handiwork.

BTW, if I don''t go with the asscher for this project, I may beg for your photoshop skills once more, since I have an idea for a 3-stone vertical pendant with the star-set asscher at the bottom (and an opal and green zoisite above it)...
