Now the mission for the perfect mount! :read: I tried to post the image of the Valina setting I want... for comments .....as I do not want to detract from that stone AT ALL! I think the images are copyrighted because it would'nt work. :angryfire:

I don't mean to keep a thread alive forever but I sincerely need help. Someone outside of this forum sent me a link to a James Allen diamond AGS 01040406260092, VS2, I, 2.01 carat to consider before I pull the trigger on the whiteflash. This diamond is eye clean but the table is smaller. QueenMum, where are you? :oops:

It's certainly a great diamond too.
73% lower girdle is something special, we don't see often here...
The diamond is deeper, it might look smaller, but then again it's cleaner.
You really have to choose, considering everything, also the price...
Can't help you more, I understand it's difficult!
I wish you could compare both to take a decision!

It wouldn't be fair that I choose for you, I don't know the price and didn't see the JA picture.

OK, I have to be honest:
~ I prefer the ACA (look at the ASET picture of both diamonds on the AGS certificate)
~ I prefer an eye clean diamond

Well I'm doing the wire transfer to get the discount so because of that the ring doesn't come until tomorrow :-( You'd think putting 18k in their hot little hands would get it here quicker but it doesn't. :angryfire:

Not sure if this will matter anymore but I'll give my 2cents.
I can't speak for all the other owners before or since but I owned the 2.044 and I ADORED it!
It was a real firecracker and a beauty, shot sparks like mad and got mad compliments. When I purchased it I was told about the inclusion and I'll tell you honestly I only found it when I looked really, really closely and it had to be in certain lighting conditions. Other times I saw nothing and no one else ever saw the inclusion and people looked at the ring very closely.
Also, the ONLY reason this diamond did not stay with me was because I upgraded to a 2.5ct stone.
WF checked it over completely when I sent it back or I would not have been able to upgrade. WF is strict about such things.

It is a BEAUTIFUL stone I think you'll be really happy and I think it will look gorgeous in any setting. Finally, for a 2.044 it is BIG, great spread!

I wish you the best of luck and I'm happy to see that this wonderful stone may have found a forever home! If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask me =)

Got it today and I love it. The inclusion is certainly there but at my age needing reading glasses to see.....it's not a problem. I think this stone finally found it's forever home.
