I am nitpicky.

In this case I would choose the ACA, as I would likely find those leaky VFs under the table with one eye closed, and I do scrutinize my stone with one eye closed from time to time.

If your intended is likely not to do so (or care), and you prefer the higher clarity, the other is certainly also a very nice stone...

I would definitely go with the ACA (the G), as long as it is eye-clean. There is an inclusion right in the culet that bugs me in the ASET, but it is not visible in the face-up photo, so maybe it is eye clean.

I'd call and verify that it is eye-clean to your standards.

I would go with the G (as long as eye-clean). The H has a table a little on the larger size and I like smaller tables.
Plus the G is cheaper...

ditto on the G ACA. the cut and light return is better- if it's eyeclean, that is my choice.

I'd unequivically go with the ACA. It scores excellent in 3 of the four HCA categories.

The ACA, just compare the actual pictures and you'll see that it has better light reflection.

The ACA is eyeclean from 8-10 inches from top view with 20/20 vision as well as from side. Does that sound about right for that price point?

Yes, but. Imma be honest, I only have 20/40 corrected (can't get to 20/20 w/o headaches), so I think that would be clean enough for me. If your vision is better, or if you require "mind clean", that may be a different standard for "eye clean"

For me, 8-10 inches away eye-clean would not be good enough. Women examine their stones up close all the time (much closer
than 8-10 inches) and I wouldnt want to see anything from about half that distance. (but thats me)

I think it depends on how eyeclean you need the stone to be. For me the 8-10 inches would work if it meant a trade up in size! lol, if I can get a stone of equivalent size, cut, and color but better clarity for very close to the same money- then I would go for better clarity.... if that wasn't an option and this eyeclean stone from 8-10 inches was the ONLY way I could get to the size I wanted, I would take it. I would stare at it, find the spot, obesses for a while, then move on.

well...what is your budget? have you seen F vs G in person? can you tell a difference, and if you can, is that difference important to you?

I doubt I can tell the colour difference apart. Based on the online photos above the F looks "cleaner" but that's based on what I see in those different images - not sure what the different images tell you exactly but I do see a difference. Are these all captured with the same lense, lighting, etc... If not then this might all be moot.

Just wanted to see if any of you with more experience had some thoughts.

maybe ask WF if they meet your definition of eye-clean? if not color sensitive I would go with the G, will not look tinted, just will not look as 'icy'. if you want an icy white look, go with the F.

(sorry, that's not helpful...but really either one will be a great choice. it just depends on whether you want to save money or go higher color, which is a matter of personal preference)

Thanks, so based on the images and ignoring colour for a second do you see any inclusions in one over the other? For me, the F looks cleaner but I don't know if that's just because the images were taken under different lighting or some other factor...

According to WF "there is a white crystal that may be seen if viewed at closer than 6 inches with excellent vision in the G SI1. The F is clean even at this close.

I think that means I should get the F even though it's an extra $875. Anyone disagree?
