I tried on a 10 carat whooper yesterday. The diamond would not only have to shrink; my fingers would have to grow.

It was beautiful to look at. Unrealistic to wear (on me). The setting was similar to mine - low profile w/ baguettes on the side - but way too big. Yes, too big!

How can anything 7+mm deep be set "low profile"? Surgery to indent your finger for the culet to sit in? That's like 1/3 of an inch DEEP! I'm sure it is absolutely georgeous, but I can't imagine wearing somethin that large on my finger. Now, if I were royalty, perhaps a tiara . . .

Everything is relative to size. I have seen these whoppers set in high settings.
