Great pics as always Bling!!! Love those bracelets. YUMMO!!! I also wonder if they made the rings on her fore finger, they are very pretty. Way to go WF!!!

Nice bangles but JS is SOOOOO last year!!!!

The most recent US Weekly just compared her to Courtney Love with a side by side image comparison, swollen eyes, puffy lips and too red lipstick...ouch! 16 minutes of fame are almost up.

~~I saw that too Mara...it seems like she''s starting to let herself go a little...

hey - its party time!!!

Spakling parties every where!!!!

I would just like to say the Whiteflash diamond pendant for Africa - that is sooo very special.

Has anyone posted about this yet? I am sure there could be a link to stories - it has recieved good press in the trade

100% of profits will go to needy causes in Africa.

When I saw the emmy awards release stuff at gIA symposium - I was so impressed with the idea as a way to promote 'develpoment diamonds' and do someting about the old conflict diamonds concept - I started work on designing something - we finished the master pattern last week.

I haven''t seen it Gary. Do you have a link?
And I love the beacelets she''s wearing too.

Love those bangles.

I was in the car thinking the other day...doesn''t she have an album out? Doesn''t he? I haven''t heard any songs on the radio...guess they were both more marketable as a couple than they are now.

I saw the Africa Pendant on their new website. It really looks great!

FG she has an album out that is doing horribly...she is under a lot of pressure from her father and management because she is doing so poorly in her career after doing so well a few years ago. He has one out too, he was just on Dancing with the Stars performing...a song I have never heard on the radio (but supposedly is about her). But they definitely were more marketable as an in love couple..that is for sure. Now the rag mags are always picking her apart and flaunting his new relationship.

On a random note, Scarlett Johansson was just named The Sexiest Woman Alive, now I'd like to see her with some classy WF bling on!! Someone who has a real career and talent, not just tabloid fodder.

There are links to 5 pages of pics from this one...what a gorgeous pendant!

I agree that the pendant is very pretty. But it seems like they should put the price on there just like everything else, so that people could decide if they want to order one.

FG,
Nick''s cd has been doing quite well. I just read on his website they had to add concert dates bc he is selling out everywhere.
I own the cd and I think it is great. I really love the whole disc!
I am so glad he is making a hit post- jessica since he was such a supportive hubby and loved to watch her achieve.I am glad he is doing it again on his own.

oh yaah, and the WF bling is great too!!! lOl

i was checking out the other press on the WF site and came across the ''whiteflash soiree'' hamptons article...

and saw THIS!!!

lydia hearst (model) with a 7.52c ACA pendant in half bezel on a DBY type necklace.

so that''s where the 7c $250k ACA has gone!!!

now THAT is some press.

lydia with 7c on.gif

here's the 7c monster pendant on the right. i guess she also wore these funky looking earrings with 5c each inside of them...and it doesn't say anything about the champagne pave ring they have in the middle of this collage, but that center stone looks huge. yum.

Wow, there is some serious blingage on this thread! Wowza! I love jessica''s pinky ring, is that a WF creation too? That 7c pendant is amazing.

Yeah, having to call....I probably wouldn''t just to inquire price.

if I could ask candidly - how would you''all feel about buying a piece of jewellery that you know is contributing to a good cause?

Does it ''kill'' the romance? Or would it entice you to buy?

what entices me to buy is $$$ and loving the piece. if it''s a good cause behind it, for me that is a ''perk'' or bonus.

It obviously has enticed many if you look around and see how many breast cancer pins and livestrong bracelets there are around. Once it becomes cool to wear a charity piece of jewelry all sorts of people will start buying it. What you need is a celebrity to buy one...

For me personally, I''m more like Mara. I will buy something if I like it, and it is an extra bonus if it is supporting a good cause. If there were two pendants that I liked...a regular one, and one where part of the proceeds go for a good cause. I would probably be swayed to buy the pendant that helps a good cause if I really liked them both.

Garry, thank you for the gracious observations. Brian is a native South African with strong ties to that part of the world and has long-wanted to get involved.

We made a decision to be proactive: As a simple company we can’t overcome political or governmental obstacles, but we can create appealing jewelry. Dreams Of Africa is a line of conflict-free pieces funding relief for conflicted areas; all profits go to our charity partner. Several people asked about pricing: The pendant sells for $4400. We plan to add earrings, rings, cufflinks and other pieces.

The idea has been well-received. We're not aware of others doing this and are flattered that Garry’s company is following suit.

There are two nice connections with Ms. Simpson. One is that she is a Texas native.

The other is her own philanthropic efforts with children in Africa. Last year she went on a medical mission to Kenya and helped the team while they performed evaluations of those hopeful for assistance with life-changing surgeries.

Thanks for the comments about the bling.

The pieces for Jessica Simpson were made from diamonds, amethyst and yellow sapphires. Mara attached photos of 1 Princess set in our Logo earring (the pair is appx 12 carats total weight), an ES RB of appx 5.5 cts in our Champaigne Pave setting and the 7.5ct ACA in a Half-Bezel Pendant.

It would entice me too look and consider purchasing a "good cause jewelry" whereas I might not have considered purchasing anything before. Yes, the design still has to be attractive but not necessarily romantic. Even though I haven''t purchased any pieces I''ve looked seriously at good cause jewelry at E-bay, Cartier, and Mikimoto. Let''s put it this way, I still keep looking at Mikimoto''s breast cancer pendant even though I''ve already given her a Mikimoto pendant.

Big kudos to Whiteflash for their Dreams of Africa pendant. If John Q, is reading this, could you post a photo on a lady''s neck to give the pendants some sense of scale? I realize they are small but I can''t get "rapper size (Flava Flav)" bling out of my head.

I agree with others. I buy what I like, and if it''s for a good cause, all the better.

LOL. No problem. Images to provide scale: Here is the pendant, solo.

Personally, I love the pendant, and just wish I were in a position to purchase one.
