I would give it back no matter what b/c I wouldn''t want it around to remind me of the heartache! The only reason she wants it is to spite her ex, and that''s a waste of time. I wouldn''t want to live like that. She won''t be moving on anytime soon...

I was engaged at 18, a few months after i graduated from HS. VERY YOUNG. Yikes.

He dumped me (which in retrospect was really fine since I suspect he had a baby with another girl, was actively cheating on me, an alcoholic, and we fought ALL THE TIME.) Ummm,,,,Yeah.....

Anyhoo, being the type that is devastated by rejection, I took my crappy I-2,. .33 ct, marquis ring from Zales, which I had picked out myself.... it was 1987....and dramatically threw it at him.... crying....devastated...

Then I went back and got it the next day. That piece of crap was MINNNNEEEEE!!

So there it sat in my jewelry box for about 10 years till I sold it to a friend for $300. Hawking a diamond is so pathetic because they RIP YOU OFF....but twat the hell would I want with the thing????

Going forward I think I wouldl give it back.... it may be harder though because I don''t plan on getting a .33 I-22 Zales diamond this time around!
