For our ceremony/elopement - we wanted unobtrusive, candid-style photography which would capture the intimacy of our tiny ceremony but also highlight the beautiful, moody and monumental scenery of our setting (we married in a 13th century castle overlooking a lake surrounded by mountains). We were very lucky to have fabulous photographers - Estella & Diego. Our photos are not on their site but we fell in love with their style - we didn't even have to find them ourselves, our planner did that for us!

For our return leg reception next year, we are again looking for candid, photojournalistic work, and again we were lucky in not having to look very far - our friends recently married, we LOVED their photos and booked their photographer - LINK. We are really hoping to capture the funny/intimate/special/ridiculous moments and feel confident that Leo can do that beautifully

We will also be using a photojournalistic-style photographer. What drew me to Sarah was her use of light and her ability to capture the perfect moments from each engagement session or wedding. ^^Kristen (owner) is an absolute sweetheart to boot!!!

I chose Lanier Star because I really wanted that photo-journalistic quality.. a very natural appeal and I feel that Kristen really is able to capture that. Her professionalism is beyond words as well so that always helps. Our engagement shoot will be around November/December of this year - I absolutely cannot wait to see how they turn out!!

We're using JWiley Photography. I love the way she captures photos, but just as importantly, I love the way she processes them. She has a vintage style that I am really incredibly drawn to - it took me forever to figure out the words for what exactly I was looking for when finally it hit me!

She's also really cool and a bit untraditional, which I'm a fan of. We're doing engagement photos next Wednesday and I can't wait!
