I'll settle for my one right now

GIA fancy Grey diamond (0.69ct) in a Deco two tone setting from Ageless Heirlooms http://www.agelessheirlooms.com/ . I stopped into Lauren's shop the other day to see what she had in person after oggling her webstore for years. I originally purchased a different ring with an original lab sapphire in it to replace with a tsavorite I had. Unfortunately the measurements just didn't work out as we had hoped and went with something different.

She showed me a ring that had a diamond in already. She had been contemplating unmounting the stone and placing it in an easier to sell filligree setting (not many guys out looking for themselves ) It turns out my stone is like .05mm larger than the one she had in there. PERFECT. It was all working like it was meant to be. Luckily, she's located right next door to a very competent bench and I had this little fella in my hands the next day.

I was only able to snap a couple decent pics of it before I had to get ready for work, expect more photos in the coming days.

Thanks guys! It is super awesome to have something just fall from the sky right into your lap Fortekitty showed off this diamond in a setting and when I saw it I had first dibs if she ever wanted to part with it. And I did! Then the setting! BOOM.

Anyways, I was wrapped up in a different photo session today, so all you get is one measly (obligatory) car shot. Even if my hands are pale and hairy It's winter in Buffalo... don't judge

Thank you! It reminds me of when I was in elementary school and wrote in pencil. You know how your hand would rub all over the paper and then get all graphite grey... it's like that. It's my perfect grey. Plus, it has some nice brilliance for being a not cut for optimal performance.
