Table size?
And a profile rendering...
Try to design the spreadiest/shallowest Asscher Cut based on a 60-40 model...
60% of the depth in the pavilion and 40% of the height on the crown...
Total depth around 45-48%
There is got to be a great combination there somewhere...
I want to see results please.Date: 2/11/2008 5:33:04 PM

15 degree tilt.
imho these small tabled high crown asschers need a bit of contrast under the table too balance the contrast lost with the small table.
Id consider this one over optimised or at least on the border of being so.
nope couldn''t....Date: 2/20/2008 3:27:54 PM

td becomes 75.2% I think I can make this combo work by playing with pavilion facet placement.
What is the minimum movement in your opinion?Date: 2/20/2008 3:35:29 PM

The only way to get some contrast back is move p2 away from 41 degrees.
I think I kind''a prefer the 41 deg. option...Date: 2/20/2008 3:59:23 PM

around 52 42 36 works but depth is back up too 78.2%.

WOW! Haha...that''s really funny, but alarming at the same time. Makes me kinda wish that diamond prices went by diameter rather than weight.

It really comes down too the amount of contrast you want in a stone and its personal preference.
keeping it around 41 gives the RA effect of small conrast.
Part of it may be that I think in the 1 to 2 maybe 3ct range and you think in the 5-10ct range.. maybe?
