Will a 0.4ct SI1 H be eye clean?

Hi experts,

I'm looking for a pair of small diamonds for ear studs.
Since I have very small actually no earlobe at all, I think maybe 0.8ctw is good enough for me, but I'm not sure.
Maybe 0.7ctw will do, but I'm afraid they won't look big enough when I'd be older
I want this pair of studs to be once and forever...Maybe I should get 1ctw?

H and SI1 seem to be the sweet point for money, but I have the concern whether a SI1 0.4 ct will look eye clean.

What do you think?
Please help to adjust my objectives before I get down to search.
