Will the following demensions look good on a 4.75 finger? She is no means a "size" requiring girl....good thing:) but I want her to show off a bit for once. Will the following dimensions/specs make for a nice looking size ring:

Cut - Excellent
Clarity - VS1
Polish - Excellent
Symmetry - Excellent
Flourescence - Faint
Table - 54%

Cutlet - None
Diameter - 7.19mm-7.23mm x 4.41mm

it's fine by the numbers, and I think 1.3 is a lovely size stone for her finger :))

have you seen the stone in person? or will your vendor provide an IS, if you're buying blind?

great color, clarity, size, numbers look good. will you get to check out this stone in person or see images?

I have seen it in person and it is an amazing stone! What is most amazing is that under certain lighting conditions and at a birds eye view, the stone almost looks on fire so to speak! I went quality for sure over size, but I still think it is a nice sized stone!

it's a great size! I think she will be thrilled :) especially with a 4.75 ring size, it will look great! how do you plan to set it?

Over 7mm in a RB! That's huge. On a 4.75...that's like 50% coverage. :appl: :appl:

...If you want it to look even bigger, get the thinnest band possible. It will make the diamond POP more, particularly when she is wearing it with her wedding band (which will increase the band size overall).

Do you think 2.5mm is too thick? Should I go smaller? Can I still get a comfort fit in a smaller size?

IMO 2 or 2.5 (not wider) would be fine, although you might want to go down to 2.

Comfort fit becomes less relevant as the width of a ring decreases. Even at 2.5, I wouldn't be concerned whether it was comfort fit or not. But I suppose the answer to your question depends on who makes the ring.

The 2.5 band I'm getting isn't comfort fit and I'm actually glad about that. I like the design of it without it being comfort fit myself.

If it is a plain band (no pave or anything), then I'd go to 1.6-1.8mm. You can still get one that is comfort fit in that width (I have a 1.8mm with pave that is comfort fit) -- because comfort fit just refers to rounding the edges of the shank, particularly on the palm side. Two 1.8mm bands would be 3.4 mm total width, which would be quite wide IMO. So I think thinner is better.

Some places (that use pre-cast stock settings, like BN) may say that they can't make a band that thin, but I promise you that they exist because the "comfort fit" part is part of the finishing, not part of the casting.

My jewler is saying that 2mm is too small and 2.5 is the way to go. I am thinking on a 4.75 2MM is he way; thoughts?

I think 2 mm is fine, 2.5 mm is not a super thick band so that would be fine also. Maybe go with a 2.2 mm band? :) Have you seen these in person? that might help you to visualize what it will look like.

I agree with you on a 2mm band. I have a 2mm band, size 6 finger, 2.5 ct. stone - and I wouldn't want it any thicker. I also agree that you don't need to worry about comfort fit at that width. Mine is very comfortable to wear.

The diamond sounds beautiful, and it's a great size!

I have not seen the band. I am going to go in on Tuesday and compare a 2.5mm o a 2mm and chose. I am leaning towards a 2mm.
