I believe that any stone that is significant to you and your FF is suitable to serve as an engagement ring! In fact, as far as I understand, sapphire and diamonds are actually a classic pairing for engagement rings. This tacori design puts a very unique spin on that, which I think is great! I love the look of sapphires and diamonds together (my grandmother has a beautiful, huge sapphire ring with diamond accents that my grandfather gave her right before he fought in the Korean war, and I had always admired it). The profile on that ring is gorgeous, by the way! I say go for it!

Oh my goodness, I am a September baby as well and that Tacori is one of the styles I fell in love with when I was first looking at engagement rings (turns out DBF inherited a marquise so it wasn''t an option, but I still love it!).

I think nowadays, anything on your left hand can work as an engagement or wedding ring. My mother got a beautiful diamond and ruby ring as her engagement ring from my stepdad, then a huge tanzanite and diamond ring for her "wedding band" -- switched the ruby one to her RHR and wears the tanzanite on her wedding finger. She gets complimented on it all the time, and no one thinks it''s not a wedding ring.

So, go with your heart, and get what you like, others will figure it out

It''s perfect. Tacori has some lovely designs (I own one!) and this is one of my favorites. I''ve seen it up close and personal at my jewelers; it''s just as gorgeous in reality.

Or . . . any sapphire ring you pick would be a fine choice. Sapphires are traditional for brides, too, and most people will think only that you have great taste in jewelry.

Definitely! I love it! Beautiful!
