Christmas dinner will be at home, I am making a filet roast. Christmas Eve will be spent with friends at their house. Before we go there we always stop at Jo's she's my BFF. Have to see her and hubby and kids. The kids just love Christmas Eve, it's a big party, with all their friends, and our friends. It's a magical night for sure.

We'll be at Fi's parents house with his family for Chrissie eve, which is a tradition. His dad always puts on a great spread.

We'll go to my mums house for chrissie day, which is what we do most years as she's a great cook

We'll have something like prawns and salads/antipasto for starters.

Than I think my mum is making a lamb and a turkey, and my sister is making a ham (which will be served with baked veggies etc)..

Then we are having two different desserts, one chocolate and one fruit.

And Fi and I are bringing the wine, lol..

If you're thinking its weird why I know all this, its because I just got off the phone from my mum telling me !

And yes, I will most likely be a couple kilos heavier in a weeks time

We are going to Dancing Fires house for Dinner

We spend Christmas Eve and Day at my moms house. We bring our 5th wheel over and camp out. HA! DH and I stay in the 5th wheel at night.

My whole family is at moms, including my brother and neighbors pop in too. My grandboys make the holidays so special. We always say what did we ever do, before they were born. Christmas was fun, but not as much as it is now.

I always cook a ham and make salads and a hot pasta dish. My daughter is the baker in the family and bakes up a storm. Cookies, banana bread, pumpkin bread, fudge, zucchini bread, homemade soup. I gain weight just looking at the food!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Eve dinner is at my house with all the family and Christmas day just my immediate family goes to my MIL''s house for dinner.

Christmas eve is my parents'' house - clam chowder or potato soup as the entree and tons of appetizers...and booze My parents get shrimp plates, pate and crackers, cheeses, and I make a baked brie with brandy, macadamia nuts, pears, and apples that''s TDF. It''s a fun meal.

Christmas morning is at DH''s mom''s house this year - last year she made a breakfast pizza, but in years past we''ve just done cinnamon rolls, breads, etc.

Christmas dinner is at DH''s dad''s - which is super exciting to me because his dad and step-mom LOVE to cook. I think they''re having some sort of roast this year (usually you get a serving of meat the size of your entire plate). My SMIL also makes killer twice baked potatoes, so I''m hoping for those, too.

Much to my relief, we''re going to a relatives. Tons of family from out of town is coming in and will be staying with us and I can only take so much entertaining!

I love them too! Have you had them prepared properly, Lorelei? I made some at Thanksgiving and the kids thought they tasted like artichoke hearts. Mmmmmm...They were so delicious...With bacon and balsamic vinegar!
