ABSOLUTELY NUMBER 2!!!!

It''s the best dress you''ve tried on so far, and it is absolutely G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!
It makes you look soft and romantic. It''s the PERFECT dress for you.

I''d like #1 if it had the different neckline and number 3 if you get it tailored in the chest area. You have chosen such beautiful dresses!!

Definitely #2. Your bod looks rocking in it.

its difficult because it''s how you feel in it!

I really love #3 on you, I don''t think its overwhelming at all, and actually really shows off your figure. . It looks really elegant and I love the sweetheart neckline on you.
#2 is my second favourite.
I''m just not a big fan of ruching, I know its suppose to be good on certain figures but I just think of mummies when I see it done all throughout a dress...that''s just my opinion and I hope I don''t offend anyone who loves ruching!

All three are gorgeous!!! All three look great on you!!!

#3 is my first choice... I LOVE that two-tone- it's so beautiful and different... and I love the fabric.

#1 is my second choice IF they can alter it to have a sweetheart neckline. I love the fabric and the detailing.

#2 is my third choice... even this third choice is beautiful and flattering. I think it's just my third choice because I really like how different #3 is and I like the detailing of #1.

Whichever one you choose, you can't go wrong.

ETA: You know what, I think I changed my mind lol. I think #1 is my first choice- between the similar #1 and 2, I think 1 looks better on you (I think it's the material- I love it and it lays better on the body)... I think #1 looks more "youthful" than #3 maybe?

I definitely like 2 and 3 better... but it might just be because they already have the sweetheart top. All of them are gorgeous though!

Here''s my lame attempt to "tailor" the first Maggie. Oy! I need to invest in Photoshop.

At least it helps me to imagine the sweetheart neckline. I''m so indecisive I think that either 1 or 2 would make me happy, and I would probably regret not getting the other one. That''s how I work sometimes, and I hate it!

Even after seeing sort of what #1 would look like modified, I vote for #2. Don''t get me wrong #1 is a gorgeous dress, I just think ontop of the sweetheart neckline being STUNNING on you, I think you need the gathering and crossing of fabric across the bust area. #2 has that and I don''t know if you can do that to #1-yes you can make it a sweetheart, but I think it would need to be completely changed. Can I ask what you can''t decide on?

I'm undecided because I like the detailing on #1, coming in from both sides, etc. I'm also worried that #2 has too much ruching-- a boy told me it looked "wrinkly." But then I can also see how #2 fits well on me! This is how I work, though. It's always a battle with big decisions. This is why all of you BIW ladies are SO helpful for me!

Does #1 have a cuff on the top? That''s what I''m seeing, and I''m not sure what would happen to that detail when cut into a sweetheart, it might not work right. If it''s just the ruching I''m seeing then nevermind!

#1 with a sweetheart neckline... and then #2... and then #3

but you look beautiful in all of them!

i''m not sure what you''d call a cuff. There is boning in the bodice, which you can see in the photo and it ends about an inch from the top, so I think that "cuff" you''re seeing is loose fabric above the boning line.

I like #1 as is...

I still say number two...don''t worry about what the kid said about it being "wrinkly", kids don''t know about rouching and stuff! It''s like when I take dutch-angle pictures (those ones that are slightly tilted) and kids say, "But it''s crooked!" Well, yes, but that''s the point.

Robbies number 2!!

I think this design has a little more detail to flatter the figure. The other one is more opulent. But there is much to be said for simplicity. Number 2 is more updated and current...with the wrinkles the boy used to describe it. It is those wrinkles...that makes it have oomph but it is YOU doing the OOMPH and not glitter or detail. It is all you in THAT dress. And in that dress YOU look beautiful!!

The boy may not yet know what OOMPH is...he will someday!! And when he learns, I bet he remembers your dress... Oh...those weren't wrinkles...that was oomph

Thanks so much for the very helpful comments. I''m going to wait on that darned Casablanca loan, and then make a decision. FI agreed with some of you about #2 being the most flattering, and didn''t say anything about it being "wrinkly", and I guess that''s the important thing!

I''ll make sure to keep you all posted on my final decision!

Ok, I''m not a photoshop expert or anything, but here''s #1 photoshopped with a sweetheart neckline (gives you a little better idea than paint

) next to #2 so you can see them together.

OHHHHH, NUMBER 2 !!!!!!

It seems to fit you like a glove..... you have an amazing figure and look so comfortable in that dress....

I would definately consider #2.... the frist one looks great as well, but doesn''t seem to have the WOW factor of number 2...

I model wedding gowns and have had that dress on and I loved it... it was so comfortable....

I am sure whatever gown you chose, you will look beautiful in....

All the best !

Thanks DKS!

Even with Robbie''s amazing photoshop skills I still say number 2!!!

Go Robbie! Thank you so much for photoshopping that pic! The sweetheart neckline makes a huge difference in that dress! Until the Casablanca comes, I''m going to let these simmer in my brain for a while. I may go back and try #2 on again and not let the darned lady rush me this time.

luckystar, #2 was at brickhouse bridal and i was so mad! I drove an hour to get there, and she made me try on 7 dresses in 30 minutes and scooted me out of the building! I was their first appt of the day. Grr. I asked the saleslady at Weddings by Debbie if they could order #2 for me (if I chose it) because I didn''t want to buy from Brickhouse after the way I was treated. You may have to come with me to check out #2 in person! :)

And, of course, I know that these dresses are going to look very different with a veil and jewelry. I''m so excited! I feel like my long, frustrating search is almost over! :)

It''s a toss up for me between #1 and #2. I love the detailing in dress #1. But dress #2 fits you SO well! You''ll be a beautiful bride in either gown.

Oh...and you''re a Houston bride! I bought my wedding gown at WBD!! I had such a wonderful experience with them, no complaints at all. I had Lupe do my alterations and everything came out wonderfully! Good luck!

I totally know what you mean about Brickhouse bridal!
I felt rushed too. I''d put a dress on, stand on the pedestal, she''d take a picture and then be like, "NEXT!" I probably only tried on about 7 dresses too--none of which I liked because I was trying on dresses that were wrong for my body type--but I felt like I wasn''t *allowed* to look at more, although they have a beautiful selection.
But then again, maybe they are onto something with the rushing. I ended up getting my dress at Princess Bridal in Old Towne Spring. I walked in, picked two casablancas off the rack, the second one I ended up buying THAT DAY. I was there for maybe 15 minutes total. (I certainly wasn''t expecting to find my dress there...they have a very small selection).
I''d definitely come with you to see dress number 2!! You know, it''s weird because now that I have the dress, I''m kind of sad that I''m not able to try on MORE dresses. Not to buy, but just for fun. As much as I hated it at the time, I kind of miss it now. lol

Ooooooo...#2, absolutely! It is so gorgeous on you, fantastic fit and flatters all the right areas!

Can I change my mind again? I know, I know, I'm really not helping
37.gif

After seeing #1 and #2 side by side, I gotta say #2 is more flattering (but I still like the material on #1 better). Like I said, I'm no help at all
17.gif
it's just that I like them all.

If this helps anyone, both 1 and 2 are the same fabric, dupioni silk, just in different lighting. #1 was all indoor lighting and with #2, there were a lot of windows and outdoor light coming in, so #1 looks shinier, but they''re actually the same.
2.gif

Well, seeing them side by side with the Photoshop magic curtesy of robbie, I have to say that now number 2 is my favorite... But more importantly... Which one is yours?
2.gif

My first instinct is #1 with a dipped or sweetheart neckline, but it''s close between #1 and #2 - they both look great!

I like Dress #2 best. Dress#1 with the sweetheart looks so much better, but I can''t imagine that dress fitting you as well as #2. I can''t wait to see the casablanca dress you were looking at. That one is pretty too!
